Excellent romance-infused riddle!
"This is a fast-paced mystery, woven with enough romantic suspense to make your heart flutter. The leads, Sebastian and Charlotte, are a match made in heaven - or, in this case, in the seedy underbelly of early-Victorian London. If you're looking for a fun little mystery to keep you company on your commute, this is the book for you. The chapters are easy to read, and the characters engrossing - Charlotte is a strong-headed sweetheart on a mission, and Sebastian, an overprotective bear who stumbles into the arms of the perfect found family. The Montgomerys are great, and I am now thoroughly invested into their family history. Onto the next one!"
Suspenseful until the end
"This story had me guessing until the very last chapter. The hints are expertly woven in so the story keeps you on your toes. I must say I kind of got attached to the characters. They are so refreshingly wholesome, having each other's back and being fiercely loyal. Sebastian and Charlotte have a lot of chemistry from the moment they meet, and they form a strong team in crime solving. Conclusion: I really loved the story and will certainly be reading more!"
An exceptional historical romantic mystery
"The well-rounded, intriguing main characters, Sebastian and Charlotte, each with agency and strong personalities are perfect foils for each other. Their interactions and chemistry, coupled with a murder mystery, makes for an excellent storyline. Even the setting of both the posh and seedy side of London, along with the cast of adorable other characters all come together to make Virtue an exceptionally well-written story. You will not see the major twist coming; no spoilers except it's worth its weight in gold. "

"Everything I’ve come to expect from this author is delivered in this book! Really well written with a lovely flowing style makes for a really easy read. A very interesting storyline that initially smacks of Jack The Ripper but really isn’t. It does however make you want to join in and play detective. The introduction of The Consortium makes you realise how long it’s been around and how powerful it must be! I’m really looking forward to reading the full series "
Everything I ever wanted!
"As an avid lover of mystery, crime, history, and romance, Virtue is truly everything I need in a book. Reading this felt like diving into the poverty-stricken streets of London head first. The attention to detail and 100% accurate historical insights were my FAVORITE! I LOVE a book that gets their info right. Clearly this author cares about accuracy. And Sebastian and Charlotte? Two people from opposite backgrounds made completely for each other. The way they just naturally sync with each other is beautiful and their chemistry was the absolute best thing to lighten some of the more intense themes. I loved all the allusions to class and politics and feminism. Anyone who enjoys serial killers and romance (but doesn't want to be inundated with cheesy love) will adore Virtue."

"I really enjoyed this story. While suspenseful and enthralling, I was able to read it in its entirety. While I enjoy mystery and suspense, on occasion, I get overwhelmed with stress and have to distance myself from the story for a while before continuing. I also enjoyed the romantic aspect of your story. Very tasteful. I look forward to reading Obsession."
