Cindy's POV
I am sitting in the living room watching television. I tried to sleep but I couldn’t. I have three days not able to sleep. My father left me and I don’t know where he has gone. I haven’t seen him in a week. It is midnight I should really try to fall asleep. I turn off the television. I hear a loud sound outside. I get my flash light and lamp. I need to scare off those raccoons it is driving me crazy. Everyday I must fix the damage they done in the shed. I step outside the house to the back yard area. I close the door behind me. I walk out towards the shed. I hear a growling sound behind me. I look and it is a wolf! I scream and I run towards the woods. It is chasing me. I trip and I twist my ankle. The wolf is growling at me and he runs to attack me but a slightly bigger wolf comes out of no where in front of me. He growls and has a fighting stance against the wolf. He whines and lowers his head. Then runs off. I tried to stand up but my ankle it hurt to much. The wolf crouch down and slowly crawls to me. He rubs his head against my side good leg. I slowly extend my hand to him. He slowly crawls towards my hand. I am petting a wolf.
“Your so soft and cuddly. I wish I could keep you by my side forever. I am getting a tingly feeling just petting you.”
The wolf looks at me and begins to turn into a human. I was seeing everything going in circle then everything went black.
I woke up in a strange room. I don’t know where I am.
Voice male, “Your awake finally. I got doctor to check on you and I was worried.”
He was sitting next to the bed reading a book The Dracon's Mate.
“Who are you?”
Voice, “My name is Hector.”
“My name is Cindy.”
Hector, “What a beautiful name.”
“I... Well... Where am I?”
Hector, “Your in my room.”
“I got to go. Thank you for your hospitality.”
Hector, “You cant go yet. That mark will hurt you badly.”
“What mark?”
I look at my self I just realized I am naked on the bed. I cover my self with a blanket all the way to my head. What happen last night? Oh right a wolf was chasing me then another wolf came and scared him off. Then I fainted don’t remember anything else. I whine in pain my side stomach is hurting me now. Hector uncovers me and touch my side stomach it felt electrifying and all good. I let him touch me it felt good. I push him away and stand up quickly. I get up and I felt pain between my legs.
Hector, “Your so tight my mate. I couldn’t help it, I needed to mark you.”
“Does this means I am no longer a virgin?”
Hector, “I am sorry... I had my way with you... My instinct kicked in... Well... I had to make you mine.”
“I... Don’t know you... I cant belong to you... I am leaving.”
Hector takes many steps away from me closer to the door. I feel cold and my stomach side is hurting me. I crouch down and breath rapidly.
“Why do I feel so much pain?”
Hector, “I told you. You my mate and I needed to have you. Now will you let me be close to you?”
“No I wont!”
Hector, “Your making it worse.”
“I don’t care I don’t love you. I don’t even know you.”
Hector, “I have to go to Italy tonight and I am taking you with me... Enough stubbornness I am going to hold on to you tightly.”
“Let go of me!”
Hector, “Look enough squirming around and stop refusing me. Your mark is less red now see and your calmer from the pain.”
“I... I... Wish my father was here... I have not seen him in a week... I don’t know where he is... He disappeared.”
Hector, “What is your father’s name?”
“Mark Colin.”
He hugs me tight and pets my back of the head. He lets go of me and rapidly goes to his closet. He gets one of his shirts and puts it on me. It lands right above my knees.
Hector, “You look ravishing. I think you will always wear my clothes for now on. I like how it looks on you.”
“I will do no such thing!”
Hector, “My mate I already have.”
He grabs my arm and pulls me out of the door.
Hector, “As long as I am with you. The mark wont be in pain.”
“I am not understanding anything.”
Hector, “Mark Colin is hiding stuff from you.”
“Do you know him?”
Hector, “He disobeyed me!”
“What are you talking about?”
He said nothing more. We kept walking and he had his grip tighter around my arm and his other hand around my waist. I don’t know where we are going. I start to hear a scream and a voice. Then I hear a familiar voice.
Martin, “I am not telling you anything.”
“Dad! I gasped”
Martin, “Cindy what are you doing hear? Wait why are you with Hector?”
Hector, “Is it not obvious she is my mate.”
Martin, “No cant be!”
“What is going on here? Why is he chained up, on the wall?”
Hector, “Speak Martin or I will give her a life of misery.”
“You already are giving me a misery life.”
Martin, “Okay... I will say this... Whatever you do to her... Never but never take her to Italy.”
Hector, “That is something non of your concern now. So tell me where is my green gem?”
Martin, “I will never tell you.”
“Father just tell him please. Why should I not go to Italy?”
Martin, “I am your uncle the green gem well we needed it... It has power stuff to it... Well I am sorry child... I thought I was protecting you... I guess... I failed... Now your taken by Hector... I doubt his your mate.”
“What do you mean?”
Martin, “Just don’t go to Italy whatever happens hear. I am actually waiting to die with keeping all the secrets.”
“You cant! I need you still.”
Martin, “Your his now. You cant hide or run away from Hector. He will find you. The mark will slowly kill you if you separate from Hector. Your necklace why are you not wearing it?”
“I lost it... Last night... I woke up today without it.”
Martin, “Find your necklace and you must keep it on you all time. I cant make you another one. The witch who made that necklace for you I had to lose my senses. Next will be my life please find that necklace and don’t take it off.”
“Why? You never tell me anything! Everything you say makes no sense to me!”
Martin, “Just trying to keep you safe child.”
“I am not a child. I can take care of my own.”
Martin, “Your a child still. You cant defend yourself from Hector.”
I run off going back up stairs leaving him a lone. I get to the top then I kneel, I am struggling to breath and I try to scream in pain but nothing comes out. My side of the stomach is hurting worse then before. Everything turns black once again.
