Chapter 1: The new World
On a lighter day compared to the normal rainy climate of Yetshiva, Økean met up with Helios and Harem. "Jesus, Økean! we've been waiting in this Fucking hellhole for three months! when do we get to kill people again?" Harem asked. "Calm down harem, let Økean speak," Helios told her. "Indeed. I understand your frustration, the demons discovered that I have betrayed them, and we need to lie lower than before," Økean explained, he now spoke smooth English with a barely audible accent. "So, what do we need to do next, to take down this island, to destroy the second largest demon headquarters in this realm and the third largest, period?" Helios asked. "The next most logical thing to do would be to actually set up some sort of base of operations in the city itself; a place to infiltrate the headquarters and begin to make significant moves towards its downfall," Økean stated. "Then let's get on with it and move!" Harem shouted. "Wait, wait, we can't just waltz in the city streets; we're wanted criminals," Helios said. "Not necessarily. We may be wanted, but they don't have a solid picture of what we look like," Økean explained. "So, we could have been in the city the whole time!?" Harem shouted. "In short; yes," Økean answered, calmly. Harem growled at Økean and fell to all fours. "There is no way he isn't evil!" Harem growled. "Yes, there is! Økean is not going to betray us!" Just as Helios finished his sentence, demons broke through the ceiling. "Told you 'Master" Harem mocked as she prepared for battle. "Økean... This isn't your doing, is it?" Helios asked. "maybe indirectly, However, I did not plan this." Økean stated. "So, it was you!" Harem growled. Helios prepared for battle; his eyes locked on Økean. "Did you call for these demons or not!" Helios shouted. "No," Økean answered simply. "Power technique! Blades of Flame!" Helios said as dagger-sized blades made entirely of burning plasma conjured by his wrists down to his elbows. He lunged forward and swung his arms, slashing the several demons with the blades. Harem also slashed at demons with her claws and bit their necks with her sharp canine teeth. "Power technique. Dark phase." A sudden wave of pure dark energy consumed the area around the small cabin and seemingly teleported Helios, Harem and Økean into a small alley with a busy street just past the mouth of the small avenue. "What the hell!?" Harem shouted, clearly surprised by the sudden transportation. "How did they find us? You said they wouldn't search the outskirts!" Helios yelled. "I was convinced that they would not search outside the city square for someone with our goals in mind. speaking of; this alley leads to an abandoned sewer tunnel that the officials don't yet have knowledge of." Økean said as he led Harem and Helios through a manhole. They arrived at a small sewer junction that would normally fill with water and drain out in multiple directions but was bone dry and looked like it had been for decades; most likely built by humans, years before the demons took over. They made their way to the cleanest of the corners and set up a temporary base; only 10 minutes away from the demon headquarters. Yetshiva was an important base due to the fact that it was the official gathering place of the demon military's top officers. Its destruction would result in a panic among the demon corps and surely it would slow the army's response to the movement of mages - and specifically the trio's movements would not be easy to follow. After a day or two of setting up their new abode, the group was ready to make their first move. "If we move in here," Økean pointed to a small portion of a diagram, detailing the main demon headquarters facility, "we can destroy a few pieces of equipment and it would cut off the supplies to the rest of the island." Økean explained. "And that would cause a backup in supplies, filling their storage and forcing them to stop producing the essentials," Helios finished. "Then we just wait for the right time and burn their storage units, leaving them completely out of the necessary supplies to stop us." Økean said. "Then its settled. We need to start prepping right away." Helios stated. The group spent the next two days perfecting their plan to sneak in and destroy the equipment. They trained some power techniques and began their assault. "Power technique! Dark phase!" Økean teleported them once more, this time to a rendezvous point in front of the supply transportation center. "Remember the plan." Helios told his Økean and Harem. They split into two groups; one had Harem and Økean - the other was just Helios. He snuck around the depot while Økean and Harem entered the building to destroy the equipment. "Power technique. Silent darkness." The large machines used for transporting goods from the depot onto the truck were enveloped in a blanket of darkness. Slowly, they faded from existence. "Woah. Why don't you use that one on the demons all the time?" Harem asked. "Well for starters, it takes a ton of my magic energy, and if whatever I use it on moves before the fading takes effect the technique won't work." Økean explained. "That sucks." Harem whined. meanwhile, Helios was making his way towards the storage units. A large barbed-wire fence stood between him and the units. He combed the fence for weaknesses before rolling his eyes. "Power technique. Stone saw." A small, circular blade made of slate emerged from his wrist and began spinning rapidly. He raised his hand and cut out a human-sized hole in the wire. He poked his head through the opening as if he were a prairie-dog before running back over to the meeting spot. "Ah, there you are, Helios," Økean Said. "Done already?" He asked. "Yeah. It was easier than your job, how'd you get done so fast?" Helios asked. "Cool power techniques." Harem said, sat on the ground like an animal. "Good. We need to get out of here though. They might notice soon." Helios said. They made it back to their hide-out and waited for news. A few days past and the storage units were almost full. "Helioooossssugh! When do we do something fun!" Harem complained. "Soon." Helios answered, zoning out. "When does Økean get back?" Harem asked. "Soon." Helios said. "God, you're annoying." Harem complained. "I'm annoying?" Helios asked rhetorically. "Well, you're certainly no fun!" Harem complained. "Well, if you hadn't noticed, we're trying to execute a revolution at the moment," Helios said. "Well, I can't even use power techniques anymore because my animal urges aren't being acted upon," Harem said. "What do you want me to do about it?" Helios asked, raising his voice. "I don't know, find me some demons to munch on." Harem said. "We need to lie low!" Helios said. "Well unless you want to fuck me foxxy-style, there's not much else you can do!" Harem shouted. Helios thought for a moment, weighing the consequences of killing a few demons. Helios turned around and looked out a sewer grate to see if any demons were wandering by. "Even if I were to let you kill some demons, there are none around to kill." Helios said. "Well like I said, sex and blood are the only things that give me magic energy, and I need a refuel before we do any revolutionary activities." Harem stated. "Well... Just be patient okay!" Helios said. "Just fuck me if you're afraid of exposing our presence to the demons," Harem said. "No, I don't want to have sex with you." Helios stated. "Yes, you do! I was awake when you were touching me in the inn." Harem recounted. "Dammit! - I never meant to - I wasn't trying to like- use you or- Shit!" Helios began pacing around the room. "Never mind, I think we have some beef in the freezer I can chew on. That might work." Harem said, lowering her voice. Helios walked to his section and laid down. As he drifted asleep, he remembered that night. His heart raced and his mind continued trailing off to how Harem was his property and how bad of a person he was for using her. The day turned to evening turned to night and the door opened. Økean floated into the room and set down a newspaper on the table situated in the center of their place. "Take a look you two," he said as he waved them over to the paper. Harem leaped over to the table and read aloud; "Storage is Full? Mysterious Disappearance of Heavy Equipment Leads to All-Time Surplus of Essentials. Production is Stopped and Workers Rejoice for Mandatory Months Long Paid Vacation." Harem had a wide grin as she read. "Exactly as we planned" A smile creeped up on Helios' face before he faded into his thoughts. Helios, Harem and Økean made their way to the supply depot once more and this time entered the facility through the hole in the fence opened by Helios when they destroyed the equipment a few days ago. The facility was full of guards this time around, most likely to prevent the loss of more equipment. The guards were all positioned closer to the manufacturing plant and remaining transport equipment. The three all chose some supply units to destroy. "Remember; we all need to destroy our units at the same time. Ready?" Helios asked. "Ready!" They all said at once. "Power technique. Dark flame" A small dark grey blaze grew in Økean's hand as he pushed it close to the large containers, setting them on fire. "Power technique. Embers." Harem shot small sparks from her hands that started a small fire that spread across all her units. "Power technique. Blue firestorm." A small vortex of blue flames engulfed the supply unit and began to burn it at a steady pace. The group left the facility and Økean decided to go off and scout for their next target while Harem and Helios watched the flames from a nearby rooftop to make sure the supplies were burnt to a crisp. The flames illuminated the faces of the two with a dim orange light. The flames danced in Helios' eyes as he watched the blaze. Harem just watched Helios smile for the first time in a long while. "What's been up with you recently?" She asked softly. "I don't know... I just feel like an awful person..." He answered. "Why?" The light flickered and moved as the frantic scrambling of demons trying to put out the fires were thwarted by thorn darts shot from Harem's Fingertips. "I just... You are my property, right?" Helios asked. "Yes, you own me, I am yours." She answered. "Well, that just makes any romance between us feel forced and I just feel guilty for my desires..." Helios said. "That makes sense, I guess, but I need sex like you need essential vitamins." She explained. "But that's what feels weird; You need it, and I just want to have sex. It doesn't work. It would be using you." Helios explained. Harem sat there and Helios got a better look at her. She was wearing an orange crop top, and you could see her bra straps with a tag listing the bra as size human DD. She was wearing a long skirt with what looked like sweatpants under them. "You bring up a good point but forgot one thing." Harem said. "What?" Helios asked. "I don't just Need it. I Want it too." Harem lifted her top off, so she was wearing just a bra as she moved closer to Helios. She began to whisper sweet nothings in his ear as she took her pants off under her skirt; she was essentially in her undergarments. They leaned into a deep kiss, their hot breath invading each other's mouths as they moaned as their tongues began to dance together. Just as Helios unclipped her bra, Økean floated up behind them. "Hmm... I've always wanted to witness human coitus" Harem was startled and her bra hit the roof they were sitting on. Fluff covered her upper chest so not much was visible. Her face was beet-red. "oops" Harem jumped a bit, moving away from Helios to make it easier to grab her bra. As she jumped back, her breasts moved slightly. "Økean, please go away," Helios asked. "No thank you. I'd either like to watch or continue the plan as my only two goals are to study humans and stop the demon corps." Økean explained. "Fuck. You. Nevermind. Sorry Harem, we need to go back to base." He apologized. The group went home as Økean explained their next best move. "We should kill Phobos, as he runs most of the lower districts of Yetshiva; which is just as important to the demons as the supply depot we just destroyed. but we must be careful," They arrived back at the hideout. "...Because Phobos it the demon of panic and defeat."
