My Dear Reader,
Before you embark on the journey that is this story, please read this brief preface carefully, as the themes portrayed in this book may upset or outright trigger you. Hence think twice if this is the right choice for you, as this story has a very different tone to my previous book(s) you may have read.
Most importantly, the main characters are not monogamous.
So if you strongly prefer the main couple to only be with each other during their relationship, this book is not for you.
It also features some very steamy moments between the protagonists and the protagonists with their respective lovers, as both MMC and FMC are very sexual in nature. This includes threesomes and foursomes at the very least.
Be aware that although the list below may seem horrific at first, most of the triggers are within a minor character who has an impact on the MMC's life and his attitude towards the world, including the FMC. Yes, this is still a historical romance with the obligatory Happily Ever AfterTM, but in this case, it contains drama, angst and more complex layers for the main characters to struggle with in their quest for lasting happiness.
