i want to love you again is a mixture of poetry, prose, and powerful affirmations. it is a reminder to always be there for yourself no matter what. we all want to get better at stripping our brains of the bad thoughts—the times where we doubt ourselves, the times we don’t love ourselves, worse— the times when we’re close to hating ourselves. i want to love u again is an honest introspection into reconciling those thoughts with reality — you are not your worst thought, action, or mistake. you are not the sum of the worst things people have done to you or the worst things people have thought about you. despite all the ugliness in the world, despite how impossible it may seem— you deserve to love yourself anyway.
