Le froid gèle son corps, mais malgré cela, Maria l'attend, ne voulant pas renoncer. Elle lui a proposé de se rencontrer dans un endroit précis où ils avaient l'habitude de se rejoindre. En voyant les minutes s'écouler, elle commence à perdre espoir de sa venue.
Pendant ce temps, Zaïm se trouve dans un lieu où il ne peut s'échapper, pour la retrouver. Il ne pense qu'à une seule chose, ce qui serait le mieux pour elle :
