"Firstly I have to say that this is a dynamite of a book. The high quality writing and editing continues and despite it being the third book in the trilogy, there is no loss of power or pace. The bad guys reach a crescendo ensuring plenty of drama, gore and some very hard to read moments with PLENTY of tears. I like that this author doesn’t shy away from upsetting her readers by bumping off loved and important characters. This means she keeps us on our toes, second guessing what’s going to happen. Fortunately she is a self confessed lover of HEAs and tbh holding on to that thought was the only thing that got me through parts of this book lol. It’s not all doom and gloom as there’s some truly delightful characters and relationships and several laugh out loud moments. I cannot recommend this author and this series enough; amazing writing, amazing imagination 👏👏"

"I have so much love for this series! The first 2 books were great-but The Shattered Kingdom was a masterpiece! I laughed, I cried, felt the loss and heartbreak, shattered right alongside Rhett and Amara, got angry, grieved. But then, in true Jessica Leigh fashion, she put me back together, just like she did for Rhett and Amara and the Kingdom of Sylvaris. A must-read if you love Dragon shifter stories and HEA!"
A great saga
"This is a beautiful series. Wonderfully written, griping from the start. Some parts felt a bit rushed (like the end of the rebellion with could have been a bit more developed and the inner thoughts of the rebels more revealed, the relationship between dragon families) bur overall is a great story. Hope to see it in print!"

It’s stronger than you know
"This story stands on its own. Rhett and Amara are going through the worst struggle and depression of a newly married couples life. They lost their babies the last couple of chapters that was the glue that was holding them together and that’s now taken away. I grieve for them, but this sadness is in no comparison to Calliope and Theo. Don’t do that. I’m with you to the end of this story and I’m riding the waves of happiness and sadness, but let’s not compare. I don’t know how to feel, but I am with you to the end."

Good writing, good story line but...
"The author has a wonderful imagination that is amazing in its detail. It is a very long story, due to this. The "but" is due to the last part of this particular book (#3). Once the war was one, I think a couple chapters with an epilogue would have been much better. It seemed to just drag along. Also, Gwyneth did not stick to her rule of "I can only respond to statements, no questions". "
