Introduction
Short Tales is a compilation of several of my short and short-short, or micro, stories. Prior to writing novels, short stories were my main interest. I don’t write in one particular genre. I’ve written all kinds of short fiction including science fiction, horror, drama, supernatural and suspense.
These stories are among the most recent that I’ve written. “I Woke Up” is a creepy micro story of about 300 words that won a local NJ radio contest. “Swim Suit” is a dramatic story that advanced through round one of the 2023 NYC Midnight 500-word writing contest. “Copy Cat”, a supernatural/horror tale, which received an honorable mention in round 2.
“Eyes Have Seen” is a quirky piece of 1,224 words. “A Quiet Dock” is a disturbing, suspenseful tale of 3,527 words. At 4,900 words is “See You in Six”, a story about meetings and partings. Ending the book is a 1500-word military drama that was submitted to a dialogue-only writing contest.
I hope you enjoy my eclecticShort Tales!
