I am Gris!

"The forest is alive with deadly, foreboding animals, but none are more dangerous than Gris, the self proclaimed protector of the forest. His favorite monster to attack are goblins, but many creatures have met death at the strike of his claws. If those creatures somehow manage to evade his claws, then Gris’s blood stained axe will make short work of them. In another part of the forest a feline bandit named Aria does her best to escape with her stolen buttered bread. Aria hates being a thief, but what choice does she have when poverty in the town of Redbrook is so rampant? Lucky for Aria, she has the unique talent of magically teleporting behind her enemies and stabbing them in the back. So far so good for Aria, unless she one day meets that one creature that knows how to turn the gift of teleportation into a curse. There’s much more in this story including a deadly, human sized lizard named Draco who tears up poor Gris’s back enough to make it bleed, but I don’t want to give away too much of the plot. Protector of the Forest’ is an unusual tale staring anthropomorphic animals. It’s a fun and creative style. In fact I remember when I first started writing fiction, all of my stories were about human-like animals. (It used to greatly annoy my Creative Writing Teacher for some reason.) At any rate ‘Prorector’ is a fun novel to enjoy, when you’re willing to let your imagination reach to the stars. "
