Introduction
By faith Ralph and Elise followed a prompt from His Spirit. They finished and equipped what her parents started in faith, not knowing the end. They stood by that faith even though the multi-purpose building, warehouse, and the tons of provisions were deemed crazy by the local population.
For they understood vision, not holding to those around them, seeking instead to prepare the way. For how could others know the passion, the sharp desire to fulfill until all was accomplished?
Then it happened, placing the bounty so carefully prepared into the point of need. The land dropped out from under the city by the river below the bluff. In three horrible minutes a sleeping city faced the wrath of a raging river, broken streets, and crumbling buildings. Citizens plunged from collapsing homes into a nightmare of death reaching for them at every turn, and yet…
What’s this? The high bridge still stands? Quick now, a way out is provided leading across the river to the opposite bluff. There the gleaming white spire of the little white church on the bluff stands above the ruins, pointing the way for those in despair. Hundreds sought this way, leaving what was, reaching for what is to be.
The faithful few on the bluff race to prepare for the throngs of wounded in body and spirit, for the needs of the people staggering up river drive involve both ministries.
Turn the page. Join the faithful few. Hear the cries. See the haunted looks. Hear the moans of those carried from crushing walls. See the wild looks in desperate faces of those seeking who made it out…, or not? But first, understand vision.
