Introduction

“Good afternoon. Good afternoon and welcome to the most anticipated day of the year. My name is Adrian Hernandez and Colin Vega is with me.”

“That’s right, Adrian. We are at one of the events that the student community never misses. The entire school is paralyzed and everyone is preparing for this event. We’re talking about the final game of college football. “

“Once again, we see this strong rivalry between the fiercest teams in this conference. We are talking about the Blue Wolves and the Hawks.”

“Here they come!”

“Wow!Look at the energy that the Wolves have! And in front, as always, is our quarterback, number 3, Lucas Navarro.”

“You can see how confidently he leads his team.”

“Last year he was named the most valuable player for the third time in a row. He is the young man with the most appointments in the history of college football.”

“That’s right and this year seems to be even more promising. The Wolves are at home, so they have the advantage against the Hawks.”

“You’re right, Colin. Here come the Hawks! This year, the team received more newbies than normal, which was a great decision if you consider that they lost half of their team last year and no one expected them to get here.”

“The coin was flipped and it looks like the Wolves will start the offensive.”

“All right, guys, we’re here. We are going to give everything we have on the court,” Lucas walked outside the circle of players, while hitting helmets and shoulder pads, he received grunts of emotion.“Let’s make those Hawks never return!” the boys responded with a series of shouts of joy while they ran towards the field.

“That’s how it starts.Adrian, are you ready to pick your favorite?”

“I think I’ll bet on the Wolves. What about you, Colin?”

“Wolves are always a good choice, but I heard the Hawks’ defense is deadly, so I’ll go with them this time.”

“Wow! The Wolves reach ten yards at the first opportunity. Lucas Navarro excels in choosing the plays that best suit him and changing them at the last minute.”

“Is a new formation in the offensive line.Lucas Navarro is unpredictable! stays in protection, they are giving him much…Oh! He has just received a tremendous blow!”

“Damn,” Lucas muttered as his body hit the grass. He had been tackled from behind and his helmet hit the ground hard.

“You look good under me, sweetheart,” a mocking voice said behind him. When the heavy body of the defense rose, Navarro threw the ball and lay down. The blow to the head had left him with a slight dizziness.

“What a blow!”

“I think that defense knows how to do its job. He’s number 46, rookie Tyler Rivera.”

“Seems that there are problems in the field, Lucas Navarro does not get up. The medical team is coming in, that doesn’t look good.”

“Talk to me, Lucas,” his coach Jason said as he kneeled beside him. Navarro had already turned, facing the sky.

“I’m dizzy,” the boy replied.

“I ’m not surprised, you got hit hard.”

“I can hit it softer tonight!” the same mocking voice shouted.

“Get me out of here,” Lucas said angrily. The coach helped him to his feet and led him to the benches.

“Bad news for the Wolves. The deputy quarterback is coming in. Number 10, Kevin Lara”.

“Kevin hasn’t played a single time this season, hopefully he’ll rise to the occasion, or hopefully Lucas will be back soon.”

“They seem to be checking if he can return to the field.”

“Who was the damn neanderthal that hit me?” Lucas asked, still looking at the opposite line.

“The 46th,” Jason pointed with his chin across the field. Navarro didn’t have to look for him, the boy looked directly at him with a huge mocking smile.

“I’m coming back. Get Kevin out.”

“No, Lucas. You got a good hit, and if you go back in there, that defense is gonna destroy you. Wait until halftime, you’ll be in the second half.”

“It’s bullshit!

“I don’t care. Go to the locker room.”

“Oh-oh.That doesn’t look well, Lucas Navarro is walking towards the lockers. Will he return for the end of the game?”
