Reinos e imperios humanos han batallado desde el inicio de los tiempos, para prevalecer como la más grande de las civilizaciones. Sin embargo, la aparición de una colosal y extraordinaria raza de criaturas ha hecho que los soberanos de todo el mundo centren sus fuerzas en su propia supervivencia y no en la expansión de su supremacía. Fusiona conceptos históricos (como la cultura celta y su religión) con ideas del ámbito fantástico de las que resaltan la magia de sangre, los Dádivas y Demogorgones. Celtas y cristianos se mantienen enzarzados en una guerra de la que nunca se ha anunciado su final; centésima iteración de un ciclo interminable de odio tan antiguo que no se puede aseverar con certeza quién lanzó la primera piedra y a quién le corresponde la verdad. El cristianismo es la religión absoluta en la próspera nación de Dranova, donde la gloria de la inmensa mayoría de las especies que consideramos fantásticas ha tocado a su fin a manos de una carnicería titánica conocida como la Gran Mortandad. Culpa de los ideales divinos y hegemonía que los fanáticos han creído poseer desde su consumación como obradores de una deidad. Y entre fanáticos, se hallan también, los celtas, juntos como un pueblo al borde de la extinción, al que se le ha instruido durante siglos en el rencor, las penurias y una ambición que sueña con recuperar sus tierras ancestrales y gloria de antaño.
