"*** Reread this 2 book series. Would definitely read again and support any future additions to this series! It was very well written. Great plot, plot twists with very strong characters! The continuity was seemless across both books, especially with so many characters and that's not easy to do!! Most times (with even half the # of characters) its easy for details to get overlooked or mistaken, but that's not the case here, and there are alot of supporting characters!! Loved the authenticity of the Cajun Southern eccentricities!! Highly recommend, especially if you love Werewolf Genre! NOT a typical WWG story! This series is a great addition to the library!!"

Ready for book 2!
"Very unique, well-written werewolf story that doesn't necessarily follow all of the "standard rules" of werewolf lore! The main characters are teenagers, but they handle the very mature problems they are given fairly well. I love all of the characters; they are super sweet, and the author does a great job developing them. Be aware that themes such as racism and prejudice are heavily addressed throughout the book. Generally I like to avoid real-life political undertones in my fantasy books because I'm trying to escape reality, but the specific references to real events, places, and ideologies certainly help this book stand out amongst other werewolf novels. The amount of detail is also worth noting since the book is on the shorter side- the book has all of the right details to help you picture a scene flawlessly in your mind, not just adjective overload. "

"It's a nice story and I like the somewhat tense relations between humans and werewolves that seem real. The main weakness is a tendency to occasionally devolve into a long lists of facts like a textbook rather than integrating the background information into the story itself."
