Namjoon yelled at his teammates when their rivals were working hard on the net to score another point.
- come on Hoseok, defend that net, defend it...
But it was too late, the spiked ball hit the sand, the winning point, the opposite team beat them by two points.
- sorry captain too late, we beat you!!!
Taehyung yelled from the other side of the nets.
- whatever it was by only two points.
Namjoon's said while he bent to grab his towel to dry his dripping face.
- captain... are you there?
The radio was heard making Hoseok sprint to get to it.
- I am here, what's up Park?
- the new lifeguard is here waiting for you.
- crap, I forgot about that...
Hoseok said out loud.
- I'm on my way Park, tell him that I'll be there in a few minutes.

Hoseok, reached for his things, making his way to the jeep.
- I have something to deal with right now guys, but we are having a rematch, I'm not going to let this slide.
Namjoon smiled hard knowing that his captain was as competitive as it could be, that was the reason why he was the captain of the lifeguards team.
- are you down for more Namjoon?
- maybe later Tae, is too hot right now, I need a break before I burn.

Namjoon said following Hoseok to the jeep.
Hoseok drove back to headquarters as fast as he could not wanting to make the new lifeguard wait any longer for him.
They pulled up at headquarters.
- is this lifeguard any good?
- we will see Namjoon, he just transferred from Daytona beach headquarters.
- please park the jeep at the rightful place Namjoon, I don't want to make him wait any longer.
- gotcha captain.
He said as Hoseok threw the keys at him.
- what kind of impression am I giving the new guy by being late on his first day?
Hoseok said running throughout the headquarters building.
- where is Park Jimin?
He said as he made his way around.
- Park Jimin!!
- captain, I'm right here, why are you yelling?
- I'm not, I just want to make it to the person waiting on me.
- he is in your office Captain, I offered him some coffee while you show up, he is fine.
- that's what you said, but I'm the captain and I'm giving him a horrible impression on his first day.

Hoseok finally walked into his office where Jungkook was sitting quietly drinking his coffee.
- good morning, I'm captain Jung, but you can call me Hoseok if we are not in official business, I apologize for making you wait, I had to take care of some things out of the office.
- good morning captain Jung, nice to meet you, my name is Jeon Jungkook, please there is not need to apologize for being late, is ok, I understand.
- I have to apologize, I don't like to give bad first impressions.

- well, tell me about you, where are you from, what made you transfer all the way up here to the Caribbean from the states?
- I wanted a change of pace and scenery, I wanted to work somewhere different.
- sounds good, how long have you been a lifeguard?
- since I turned 18, I wasn't too fond of school, tests and homework, so this is what I like to do, I love the beach, I love the sunshine, I love surfing also, so I chose a career where the beach was my work place.
- sounds good, I will show you around before we move to the tedious part, paperwork.

Hoseok stood up from his desk, and made his way to the door opening it, ushering Jungkook to walk ahead of him.
- thank you, I like the view already Captain, I know I'm going to love it here.
Jungkook said as he passed by Hoseok.
- the team is very close to one another, we consider each other family, specially when most of us are far away from our own.
- that's good to hear, I'm not to fond of drama, I like to be part of a team that gets along and have each other's backs.

- Hoseok or Hobi please, I might be the captain but I'm part of the team too, I want you guys to see me like an equal.

Jungkook said with a smile.
- Namjoonah, come on and meet Jungkook.
Namjoon walk towards the two.
- Hoba, nice to meet you Jungkook, my name is Kim Namjoon.
He said extending his hand towards Jungkook.

Jungkook didn't realize what he had said.
- (laughing) are you speaking about my muscles when you are build like a Tonka truck?
He replied as they shook each other's hands.

- it's ok, we are brothers in here, we tease each other, we play pranks on each, sometimes the jokes go a little too far.

Namjoon returned the smile.

Hoseok said out loud.

Jimin said happily offering his hand again.

- I competed professionally for a few years, but an injury pushed me out of the water, but I still do it a few times a week.
- I look forward to go surfing with you when we have a day off together.

- alright, next over here we have Kim Taehyung.

- thank you Seokjin, Jungkook this is Kim Seokjin, he runs the whole place in here, I just run things out there on the beach.
- I'm Sergeant Kim, nice to meet you Jungkook, you can call me Jin.

- really, I get accommodation too, no one told me that.
- we all do, is usually one or two person per house, it depends how many lifeguards we have assigned to the team, right now is one per house, since this team is fairly small, we still have room for more lifeguards.

Her eyes found him, somehow everything surrounding them disappeared, all she could see was him, the most handsome man that she had ever seen, y/n swore that she would focus on her job and nothing else until this moment, until right now when this godly looking human being was standing in front of her.

He said extending his hand towards her, y/n was just staring at Jungkook for a minute without any reaction.

Hoseok said breaking her out of her stupor.

She said meeting his hand in a hand shake.
- captain, the major is on the phone, he says is important.
- ah yes, y/n be a darling and introduce the rest of the team to Jungkook and after that take him to his home and show him around, then comeback to me so we can finish this paperwork and put you on the schedule.
