Riveting and Relatable
"The story took a minute to grow legs for me. Once it did, it kept me engaged and longing to get to subsequent chapters. The love story was provocative and bruising, however ended with a complicated and realistically attainable love when people are able to be raw and vulnerable. Much as real life. The romantic scenes were not too frequent and compelled you to be drawn into the passion between the characters without it being gratuitous. I only had longing for the closure that was missed with Royce's family, Daniel's fate and Liv's relationship with her parents. Other than that, the story was well written and was able to have you experience the circumstances through the eyes of the characters. Bravo."

"I’m not done reading yet but Inkitt asked me for a review LMAO. Lindsey is such an amazing writer truly, I’ve read her work in the past and I can’t wait for the day I can buy a physical copy. I rave about her to every reader I meet. Her writing style is amazing, i love the vocabulary she uses it’s very sophisticated. She is very detailed and puts emotion into her writing making you feel truly like the main character in the story, experiencing EVERY emotion with them through their eyes. I’ve yet to read another authors work that evokes the emotion and holds my attention as much as Lindsey’s work does. Her plot lines are absolutely amazing, so thought out and the plot twists truly keep you on the edge of your seat and wanting more. I’ve stayed up until 5am many nights binge reading her stories because I just could not put the book down. Her work leaves me thinking about the character and book universe for weeks after finishing honestly. I can’t wait to finish The Lies He Told and see how she wraps up this universe. I also am patiently waiting for The London Crime King series to be complete as I read a few from the series until it got removed off wattpad. I have yet to find a mafia book like that one. If you are having doubts about reading her books, I promise you it is very worth it! I couldn’t tell you a single bad thing about them. "

"What can I say? This book had me hook line and sinker I finish this book in 2 1/2 days every time. I thought I had something figured out. The author took me for another turn. This is quite possibly the absolute best book I have ever read on this app and let me tell you I am an extremely avid reader, I highly recommend this book to anyone, although it does have a few triggering chapters.(those chapters were skipped on my behalf because of trauma.) I give this book 5 stars all around!"
