"I'm not a guy but ~I got it~ because it's well written. This is a bittersweet and emotional story. The struggles and responsibilities of three young men on the cusp of adulthood are described so well that sometimes you want to scream for help for them. Despite all of the tribulation they are going through, boys will be boys and the banter and them goofing off, learning about each other or warming a sleeping bag was fun to read. "
Compulsive reading
"Despite the subject matter and the abhorrent things done to those children, not just in the story but in real life too (we all know this happens and gets covered up), and that I did screw my nose up at the details of what those men were doing, this really was a compulsive read. I couldn't put my phone down, I had to make myself stop and go to bed. It pulls you in it really does and deals with a really sensitive matter but in a way the reader can relate to. These three need each other so much, even though I knew it was a story I felt so bad for them being split up. It really is a must read, but I can see this story will be hated by many simply for the subject matter, personally though, I think it's great."
