CHAPTER 1-THE RAPTURE

Welcome, everyone! I'm thrilled to share my light novel with you, and I appreciate your support. I want to clarify that while my story is inspired by the Bible, it's not a direct adaptation. The concept of the Rapture and the Day of Reckoning has been interpreted in many ways, and this is my creative take on it. Please note that this story is not meant to be a literal representation of the Bible's teachings. I've taken artistic liberties to encourage readers to explore the Bible and spark their imagination. While I do believe in the return of Jesus and the Rapture, my story is not a prediction or a representation of how these events will unfold. I hope you enjoy this journey into the Shadowlandz! New chapters will be released every two weeks, and with your support, we might even have more frequent updates. Your engagement means everything to me, so please read, share, comment, and let me know your thoughts after each chapter. God bless, and let's enter the Shadowlandz together! 35 (Human)Years After The Rapture Our story starts in a huge walled forest village nestled in the woods. It is year 35, 35 years after the RAPTURE. We focus in on an old man walking into a schoolhouse with young teenagers following behind him. The old man sits at a desk, surrounded by the children. 'Hello, young ones! Welcome to your first day of school in Northern Edge.' Before we get started today, we will talk about the history of the Shadowlandz. One kid asks, 'Mr. Old Man, will we all learn how to get powers like some of the others?' Another kid yells, 'Yeah, I want powers like Master Rouke. Another kid chimes in, 'I want powers like Zeyta!' Yet another kid asks, 'What about the Prodigy, the Chosen One, Raiza?' One kid exclaims, 'Oh yeah, I heard he's the coolest one! He has the powers of Moses!' The old man laughs and says, 'Oh no, no, no, children! You all definitely need to hear the story of the Shadowlandz, for you do not seem to be well educated. The kids laugh out loud, but the old man continues, 'No worries, I'll give you the history and meanings. I will tell you the history of the Rapture.' All the kids' eyes light up. 'Wait a minute, Mr. Old Man, you were there?' 'Yes, I was indeed,' he replies. 'But how about we stop saying Mr. Old Man? Can you call me Disciple Rin?' The kids cheer, 'Yes!' I will give you guys the whole story before class ends, but no interrupting!' The kids shout for joy, I remember the day like it was yesterday...'" SCENE GOES BACK TO DAY OF THE RAPTURE THE PREQUEL BEGINS CHAPTERS 1-5 WILL BE BEFORE OUR ACTUAL STORY TAKES PLACE. CHAPTER ONE-THE RAPTURE THE DAY OF THE RAPTURE TOLD BY DISCIPLE RIN…. I still recall that day like it was yesterday. The day I turned 34, I had finally perfected my life-changing invention - a revolutionary pill that could cure diabetes in just a month. Growing up in poverty, I knew firsthand the struggles of living with this condition. Now, I was on the cusp of something incredible. I had just presented my invention to high-profile investors, and they were blown away. They offered me a deal that would earn me a staggering $10 million in commissions in the first year alone. As I left the meeting room, I struggled to contain my excitement. Once I stepped into the elevator, I let out a triumphant scream, tears of joy streaming down my face. I called my sister, ecstatic to share the news, but before I could reach her, the building shuddered and a deafening thunder sound shook the walls. I got up and ran off the elevator towards the stairs at the main lobby. As I rushed towards the main lobby, chaos erupted around me. People were clutching their ears, wincing in pain, and stumbling to keep their balance. Then I rushed towards the exit, I noticed something bizarre. People were clutching clothes in their hands, but nobody was wearing them. It was as if they had been stripped from their bodies in an instant. The sight was surreal and unsettling, and I couldn't comprehend what was happening. But before I could process this strange phenomenon, my eyes widened in horror. A massive airplane was hurtling straight towards the building, its engines blazing, and its wings tilted at a deadly angle. The plane's nose was pointed directly at us, and I knew we were mere seconds from impact. I started dodging panicked people and debris as I went Running. The sound of screams, crashing, and crunching metal filled the air, I ran out the building. I barely escaped the impact, but the explosion sent me flying across the street. Scrambling to my feet, I saw a scene from hell: cars piled up, massive explosions that sent a shockwave through the air. I stumbled into a Pitch-black subway,, "surrounded by others we were all  terrified, hearing thunderous sounds above us. Then we could hear a train, but not see it coming. Clink, screechhhh... a horrific sound of people screaming as the train derailed, killing everyone on that platform. I couldn't see anything but the light from the staircase. I ran upward, knowing I could get crushed by the train. I made it up at the last minute, then slid into an alley to safety as the train literally came up from the ground." When I emerged, I remembered my sister's words - she'd park near the Boston Science Museum, next to Dunkin' Donuts. I Ran towards it, my heart pounding. I Arrived! Her car was there, but she was gone. A looter was attempting to steal her valuables, but I stopped him. He said, 'We missed the Rapture, There's no hope for us! Why do you care? My mind raced as I tried to make sense of the chaos. "This can't be happening," I thought. "It's a government attack, or an EMP, or some kind of sick experiment." But then, a piercing trumpet sound shattered the air, echoing from the heavens above. The sound was haunting, otherworldly, and it sent shivers down my spine. I sat there, paralyzed, wondering if I was trapped in a never-ending nightmare. The Rapture - a concept I had always thought of as a distant, abstract idea - suddenly felt terrifyingly real. And yet, here I was, left behind. Why? What had I done wrong? The questions swirled in my head as the trumpet sound faded, leaving behind an eerie silence. I WAS LEFT BEHIND THE RAPTURE IS REAL. Year 2- Fast forward to a few years later, all of us were put into shelters. The Army and National Guard took us to a campsite with only basic necessities like food and water. Everyone was panicking, confused, and missing loved ones. I kept thinking my sister was still alive, but I knew what had really happened. I was left behind. As time continued, they started telling us we couldn't stay on the streets and had to follow martial law. They created jobs and rebuilt the cities, but I didn't want to leave the campsite. I didn't want to risk being killed. One day at the camp a guy started going crazy, screaming 'Repent!' but the soldiers silenced him. We noticed people disappearing after speaking about God or the Bible. Then, a man named President Natas appeared, claiming to work miracles and promising a new world. He wanted to abolish religion, saying it caused division. He offered us a chip to access a beautiful, lavish city, but we had to denounce our beliefs. Three months later we were transported outside a walled city called Dynoxa. President Natas came and spoke to us, saying his goal was to remove religion and offer protection. We had to denounce our beliefs to receive the chip. "One man stood in front of the line and said, 'This is wrong. This is all biblical. We have already failed; let's not fail again. This will only get us closer to hell.' Just as he finished speaking, a guard sliced the man's head off with a clean Swipe. We were all in shock, then Natas said to the people, 'Have no fear. Don't allow this to be of evil intent. The man spoke out of place, but fret not. Watch as I am able to allow this man a second breath.' Natas then walked to the man's head and picked it up. He then put the head near the neck and said weird words. The dead man's head reattached to his body as the dead man woke up screaming. Natas said, 'See, all is well.' Then he turned toward the soldier who had sliced the man's head off and asked him why he did that. The soldier said, 'Forgive me, Mr. President. He spoke out of line. He was disrespecting you.' Natas replied, 'No, no. He was just misled. It's OK. But you acted out of line.' So he touched the soldier's shoulder, and he exploded into pieces. "Natas looked at the people and said, 'See, I pick no sides. I'm here to serve you, the common people. All I ask is for you to respect me and trust in me. Give your hearts to me.' The old man I just gave new life will go to a facility and be taken care of. We just have to clear his mind of that Bible nonsense.' Now, who will be entering Dynoxa?"People rushed in to receive the chip. Natas Smiled)). NOW WHAT WILL I DO?

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

Vampire: Great story. Clear plot line and very interesting. Characters are lovely and well made. Amazing writing skills and grammar. Only thing that was a little bit too much is the repetition but I guess it's a writing style? Anyways I love it definitely recommend it!
