Chapter 1: My Mom's Sleepwalking Problem
Lately, my mom's behavior has taken a peculiar turn. She tosses the covers off, rises from bed, and slips out of the house, leaving a trail of mystery in her wake. In the wee hours, my Dad rouses not just me, Shannon Baxter, but also my 5 younger siblings. Among them, my 3-year-old toddler brother Tyler Baxter, my 6-year-old sister Lindsey Baxter, my 8-year-old brother Kenny, and my 10-year-old identical twin siblings, Lance and Lilly. Together, we shuffle into our trusty blue Chrysler Minivan, embarking on a quest to locate our elusive mother. We comb the streets, our eyes scanning every corner in search of her elusive figure. Eventually, our tireless search leads us to a park, where Dad expertly steers the minivan into a parking spot. With a sense of urgency, he steps out and strides towards Mom.
Dad gazed at his wife, Kathy, and inquired, "Kathy, what are you up to?"
As Kathy fervently searched for her baby, she repeated with urgency, 'I'm looking for my baby, I'm looking for my baby.'
As Dad gazed at Kathy, he assured her, "Your baby is safe at home, the little one rests peacefully under our roof, safe and sound."
