Summary

Rebecca Kingston, an 18-year-old wolfless shifter who’s starting English Lit in one of the biggest universities in supernatural society—on a scholarship, of course. That’s me. Yay! Leaving a small town to go to college in a big city means a lot of change. I feel confused and stressed, but I guess that’s just another day in life. However, things get more confusing when I meet them. The ten males who form the newest patria in Stonewall. Let’s just say things start to get heated. After suffering through years of abuse and being rejected by my mate, I learned to guard my body, but especially my heart. And being close to them is dangerous on so many levels. Nevertheless, I manage to find myself tangled in their midst. Between their laughter, caring vibes, intense alpha energies, and sexy, gorgeous bodies, I’m losing myself. However, once rejected, always rejected. There’s no one else for me. And even though I find myself succumbing to their charms, I know that deep down, we can never be. Or can we? **This is an ongoing work that will (hopefully) be comprised of five books about the same characters. Hope you enjoy it!** Tropes: reverse harem, strong female main character, possessive alpha males, second chance, fated mates

Prologue

Eons ago, there were five gods in Arcaë, the dimension ruled by Magic.

The most powerful among them, Ars, imprisoned the others in the regions of the continent, the Four Quadrants. Even imprisoned, the gods managed to speak to the people of Arcaë by blessing each quadrant with their power. Led by Vesta, the Queen of the Sorceresses, and her mate, Vrikaus, the Supreme Alpha of the Shifters, the Army of Light defeated the forces of Ars and freed the gods. Ars was then sealed in the most protected region of Arcaë, the Orbium. Elatus, Ânyma, Artus, and Sensus, the other four gods, were finally free.

However, their freedom lasted for only a few millennia, for Ars managed to slip some of his power through the cracks formed in his prison. Arcaë was soon plagued by war. This time, Ënika and Ikarus ended Ars once and for all. Nevertheless, the war was so cruel that a big migration occurred. Several beings fled Arcaë, seeking shelter in the Earth Dimension.

In this new dimension, the refugees had to struggle with life without the close presence of their gods. In the Earth Dimension, the Magic of Arcaë changed, and so did its people.

Ku_Rolet: The novel was good, and I really enjoyed reading it. I love the leads and their bond, but I have one question that confused me. How could Tristan have been dreaming about his mate since he was a child if Omara was already mated to someone else before him? If Kyle had accepted Omara, would Tristan ne...

Rodela: I have been reading in Inkitt for quite some years now, but this is the 2nd time I am reading a story as well knitted as this one. Ingibabes511: Beautiful storytelling, too short but crafted wonderfully, your ability to draw us in with just a few short descriptive nuances and I for one would not be unhappy if you decided to make this into a series following their lives, where we learn more about her goddess given talents and if they have pup...
