Chapter 1: Computer Research on How to Make Someone Disappear and Never Ever Come Back.
Throughout his life, Craig Thompson had been constantly pestered by his mother, Deborah Thompson. She nitpicked about every little thing, scolding him for a mud stain on the kitchen floor or for arriving home past his curfew. Her critical eye also fell on his five siblings - his 3-year-old toddler brother Barry, 6-year-old sister Amber, 8-year-old brother Keith, and 10-year-old identical twin brother and sister Tyler and Molly. Craig, at 18 years old, stood at 5'8 with short brown hair and striking hazel eyes. In contrast, their mother, Deborah Thompson, was 45 years old, 5'7 with shoulder-length brunette hair and captivating light brown eyes. They resided in a house nestled in a shady, gated, tree-lined neighborhood in the quaint town of Ironton. Craig had returned home from college for summer break, but soon he would be heading back for the fall and winter semester. Finally reaching his breaking point, he harbored a secret desire for his mother to vanish forever. Fueled by frustration, he hastily turned to his computer, delving into the depths of the internet in search of ways to make someone vanish without a trace, never to return.
As He stumbled upon a magical incantation to make a person disappear forever, Craig grabbed a sheet of paper and a pencil. He diligently transferred the words from the computer screen onto the paper. He discreetly stashed it within the pages of a book, then casually emerged from his bedroom to join his family for supper, surrounded by his caring mother, brothers, and sisters.
After supper, Craig began meticulously preparing for the Ritual to make their mother, Deborah, vanish forever. Creating a mystical circle in the heart of his bedroom, he strategically positioned candles around its perimeter, igniting each one in a mesmerizing display of flickering light. As he stood in the center of the circle, a sense of otherworldly energy enveloped him, prompting him to commence chanting a powerful incantation.
Craig spoke with conviction and intensity, declaring, "I don't want to see my mom. I wish for her to vanish without a trace, to be whisked away to a distant realm, never to be seen again in this world." With each word of the potent incantation, he sealed his desire into the fabric of the universe.
As Deborah lay beneath the covers, she awoke to the unsettling sight of her legs slowly vanishing before her eyes. With a sense of dread creeping over her, she began to whimper as her hips and the sensitive area below her stomach began to fade away. Despite her growing fear, the disappearance progressed until Deborah vanished completely.
The following morning, Craig awoke, dressed himself, and strolled to his mom's bedroom. To his surprise, she was nowhere to be found in her bed. Excitement bubbled within him as he realized the incantation had indeed worked; he had successfully caused his mom to vanish without a trace. With a mischievous grin, he resolved to prepare breakfast for his siblings without revealing the truth about their mother's permanent absence.
An hour passed, and Benny, Amber, Keith, Tyler, and Molly began their Morning Routines. Meanwhile, Craig was still engrossed in his morning routine. In a parallel world, Deborah gazed around anxiously, a sense of foreboding creeping over her. She pondered her mysterious presence, completely unaware of the eyes fixed on her from the shadows. She began to stroll around, only to realize that an enigmatic figure or figures had begun tailing her from the depths of the shadows.
