I woke up feeling a bit weird, i felt like i forgot something but i can’t remember, like i jus cant but ik my mom is downstairs cooking breakfast cause the sweet smell of pancakes filled my room, “mmmmm, what r u cooking mom?” I asked while i came downstairs to the kitchen, “sweetie go brush ur teeth, NOW.” Mom told me, I went saying nothing else and thought why was she like this this morning cause she doesn’t like to yell at me, especially this early in the morning. I did what she told me to and looked at my calendar and noticed why she yelled at me, it was a school day I forgot, totally forgot. Then i got worried cause im gonna miss a test “oh shoot!” I said to myself, “i didnt study… wait ill miss a test!” I got super nervous and i dont like being late or the last one in class, I’ve already missed 2 classes and 1 period (when i promised my friends so i can give them my study notes) and now im abt to miss a test! The biggest one thats 50% of my grade for history! I got so worried that i was not changing and mom had to knock on my door several times. “Audrey honey, pls hurry…” Something was off, her voice trailed off, and she stopped knocking, “um, yes mom?” No response, “hello? Mom, u there? Hello? Mom!” No response (still), i got really nervous and changed and went out to the living room, “mom?” I said silently, “yes sweetie?” My heart skipped a beat and i couldn’t believe she was next to me. I freaked out like if i had jus seen a ghost, “oh uh um nothing mom i was gonna say that i dont feel well and want to stay home.” I felt fine but i didnt want to go so i stayed home cause mom let me then left for work.

This moring went by fast and weird, this isnt the only time that happened, in fact, on july, she disappeared into her dark room and came out from the bathroom and said “hey sweetie go take a shower and its quite slippery in there, be careful, okay?” And i told her k and went, it was quite disturbing to me and I often go to my friends house cause of that and hav parties and sleepovers and stuff or if i go to a party in tge afternoon i would tell mom that im also having a sleepover tonight. And yes, if u couldn’t hav guessed, i am going to a sleepover and mom doesn’t think anything is wrong… atleast she doesn’t look like she thinks it is. But anyways i went wondering around the house into moms room and went into her closet that she told me not to go in cause then ill be messing around with her stuff but i did today and thought i wont and then saw a door that has a sign that reads “Cave” and has beautiful flowers around it and i thought if i went in or take a peek, i might know more or it might be one of mom’s drawing and her flowers so i left but something in me told me to go back so i did.

As i said i went back and before i knew it i crept open the door and looked inside it was dark so i got a flashlight and went in i looked around and saw that it was a cave “ohhhhh nice place! I wonder why m needs this tho…” the door slammed shut behind me and before i could go back, shoot, i thought, i then realized i was in a real cave so if i want to live then i better get that door open and grab some survival kit and food and stuff. I went back, but the door… it was no longer there so I panicked and searched around but still, no door. I went wandering around the cave since there was nothing else to do and i found a river, weird, i thought and took a good look at it and saw that it was drinkable, i took a sip and then spat it out “ewww this is the worst water ive ever drank!” I yelled, the cave echoed, i, then, realized that the water i drank was quite dirty… well the bottom was so i spat it and thought if i followed the river it might lead me somewhere so i did then after a bit it did lead me somewhere- well to a camp so i took out my phone and took a pic and some vids and saw the best thing ever… a cloud and rainbow together like in kids books but it was the real thing “whoa…” it left me speechless then, “hey! Why is there a little girl here!” Someone yelled “oh… uh i got lost in the cave…” i said “well, how did u get in?” They asked me a lot of questions and i lied to half of them, “… and lastly how come u came? Where did u come from?” That one jus cant really lie abt cause i came in from mom’s closet… then I remembered the forest surrounding the town i live in and the people talk abt some sorta “cave” so i told them i went in the forest and got lost and went to the cave for the night and got lost again and so I wandered around and got here, “well, if so, then why not join us? We hav plenty of food and supplies.” I thought i could but i told them no thx, bit i told them if i can hav their bag and some food in it along with water, first aid kit, a compass, and a sleeping bag then i can survive my own and they agreed with it so i got the supplies and thanked them many times and set off.

As i went, i came to a stop, i thought if i could try to text, it might go through, and surprisingly, as if it was magic or something, it did go through an mom replied with a simple “yes?” Cause I texted her “um… mom?” And then i went like yes! So then i wrote this part in notes so i could write it later in my dairy… oh and yes, i used google maps to lead me home and then i lost connection at one part of the cave so u jus looked at the time and its lunch time. So i grabbed my food and ate some- not too muck jus a sandwich and 1/4 of the bottle of water.

I thought if i stayed where i am rn, i might be able to get out with my phone if the wifi work so i grabbed my sleeping bag and slept for a while.
