What is your opinion?

Blood curse

"Is a book that gives TVD's vibes. It captures the details of what life will be for an immortal. Eg always moving and hiding and those things. It's is short though but I really appreciate the fact that words were not wasted describing unnecessary scenarios. Book is precise and straightforward. You will definitely enjoy these as I have."

A fiery journey through the ages

"Nicely crafted story, with intriguing characters, and I love that the plot revolves around family. The ritual is convincingly portrayed, along with its consequences and the depiction of vampire hunger. It's a pity the author skipped over the class divide aspect. The language is simple and vivid; I don’t need a translator. Fantastic that she included a voyage to America on the Mayflower! The chapters are short but very readable, and I appreciate their clarity."

Interesting story!

"I did enjoy this read even though the main character was hard to gel with at first. It would be great if the author would edit again, some easy mistakes would take moments to fix. The denouement was so quick it took me by surprise. The entire story led up to it and then the end came to a sudden halt. Questions were answered but it seemed an easy fix and rushed. I do ENJOY this author very much!"

It has so much potential

"What to say first…. It has SO MUCH POTENTIAL. I think that is my main take away. I absolutely LOVED the concept of the story. I absolutely LOVED the scene where they first become vampires. I also ABSOLUTELY LOVED that the story took place in New Orleans, Louisiana, as I am from Louisiana and grew up going to New Orleans on a regular basis. I greatly appreciated how much the author got right about the special city in my state. That being said my next thought is… Damn… There were SO MANY scenes that were missed opportunities. Over and over throughout the book I couldn’t stop the extra scenes from playing out in my mind that could have made this book so much more full and so much more enlightening to the characters love stories. Scenes that could have shown what the characters were feeling, hopefully allowing the readers to feel it too. To me the beginning was fantastic but once we got to the actual love story it felt like it barely grazed the surface of what could have been. I still enjoyed the book. "
