ZOM TRAP

"we should've been more careful.... I'm sorry Mike, this happened because of me." Said Lia as she bandaged Mike's arm that got cut by the glass.

'wait isn't that blood? Was the blood there before mike got his arm scratched?'

We came out for food and necessary thing's that we need in our everyday life. There was only few groups.

In my group we were six members assigned in a group. as there was an boxer, an Martial artist, an doctor, an strategist, and the captain.....and me? And another thing. The commanders force me to be in this group. So you can say....well I'm kinda useless here.....but I do still survive everytime any zombies attacks.

"Lia, calm down it's not your fault. I'm fine we're fine. It's just an scratch" said mike as he stood up from where he was sitting and ruffled Lia's hair.

"Come on guys move! We have to go back before the sunrise." Said jack as known as the captain of this group. The five of us stood up and went towards the car where Emily was waiting for us in the driving seat, ready to drive. Emily as known as the strategist.

"Come on bro let's go"

"Hope on guys" said Felix who wrapped his arms around my shoulder and dragged me inside the jeep. As known as the boxer.

"I'm getting tired now when will all this end!" Said yuki with an sigh as she got in the jeep and sat beside Lia. As known as the martial artist.

I moved my attention somewhere else as I thought back to my past.

Flashback

Mom and I was eating, singing, giggling. All my school friends. All the people's I knew. My life's best moments flashes Infront of my eyes before someone shook me harshly and woke me up.

Zombie....these fucking zombies are here.....

My mom just turned into a zombie Infront of my own eyes and I couldn't do anything..... just like that everything ended.

The world is now almost full with zombies while there is only few thousand people's are alive.

The world where 8 billion people used to live is now filled with zombies....

while there is only 7 thousand thousand Human's living in here.

Each thousand have taken their shelter in each continents. Like one thousand are in asia, one thousand in South America and the other five like this.

Emily was driving the jeep towards the main road, when suddenly jack stopped her and looked at the zombie detector on his hand.

Mike and felix held up their guns ready to shoot.

"More then hundreds" said jack as he glanced around.

"Aish leave it to me, not a big deal." Said Emily as she revved up the car's engine.

"In 3"

They all held onto their seats as Emily held the gear with her left hand and held the steering wheel with the right hand.

They heard few cracking sounds.

They heard roaring sounds coming closer.

Zombies burst out from insides of the buildings and some jumped down the buildings.

Emily sped up as she drove between alleys that is small and big. Crushing down zombies that got Infront of them.

"AND the fucking sun rises." Said jack and yuki as the rest of them took out their guns and take stance.

Emily geared up the car before breaking inside an big mall, while the others shot down the zombies that were coming behind them.

Emily pulled the car in an big hall room where zombies can't come.

Jack, kai and felix came out the car and immediately closed the door.

Emily sighed in relief. Yuki and lia sighed and came out the car.

"You okay mike?" Mike nodded as Emily pat his shoulders.

"So we're not going back to our hideout today huh....but i wanna sleep! I need my beauty sleep." Said emily in dramatic tone making yuki and felix laugh.

Lia was treating mike's wound on his hand.

Meanwhile jack and kai was out to find something to eat.

"I'm worried, kai and jack are late" said yuki as she looked at the big closed door.

"They'll be fine" said felix reassuringly.

"What should we do about kai though?.... I don't wanna sound mean but....kai is just you know.... sometimes i feel like we should not let kai come with us... it's for his and ours safety" said yuki guiltily.

There was an moment of silence before they heard laud bangs on the door. As they all flinched and their heartbeat fastened.

"Open the door it's us!" Said kai and jack from outside as the four of them relaxed a little.

Felix and mike went and opened the door. But they saw kai and jack throwing up and few scratches here and their on their body.

They heard an big thud as mike and felix grabbed kai and jack and threw them inside. And locked the door.

Lia, Emily and yuki ran towards them and held kai and jack before they can hit the floor hard.

"What the hell happened?!" Asked the four of them in sync.

After five minutes jack and kai calmed themselves down and started explaining what happened.

Flashback

Kai pov:

I and jack was slowly moving towards the food store that was located in the same floor we're in.

Jack looked inside the store while i kept an eye behind us.

At first jack didn't saw anyone as we both slowly walked in and our stomachs growled at the view of foods Infront of us.

But we suddenly heard a flesh eating and bone cracking noise coming from a six feet distance.

We couldn't see properly where that noise was coming from, because the sound was coming from behind the counter.

We both took a step closer as we got on our attack stance with our guns on our hands.

We took two feet closer step and stopped when a person stood up and tied their hair with an psycho like smile on there face.

We were terrified, horrified because it's not just an normal human that we are seeing.....

We don't even know what to call it...

That person still haven't looked at us but judging by the appearance and consciousness that person already knows about our existence here.

Chewing an flesh, blood on their hands and mouths and clothes....

It looked so disgusting....

"Human?....what a nice meeting."

Said the man with long hairs as he finally looked at our side.

"I haven't eaten any human flesh in years....well in two years to be correct."

I and jack took two steps back when that man took a step closer.

(On the other hand inside the hall room with mike detecting a zombie on the zombie detector to be at least 50 feet away from them. But that was seemingly an calm one so he ignored it.)

It's been fucking only ten minutes but that guy had me and jack on our edge. Butt and ass too.

Fuck myself I'm useless, but even jack?

We scoot over with an sharp pain on our body, behind the counter table.

That man just threw us away as he hit us with the fridge.....yes the fridge...is that even a human?! Or a zombie?! A monster?!

I and jack almost threw up before seeing the fucking zombie half eaten on the stomach.

After 30 minutes of fighting with that creature. We ran away when we found an opening.

We banged on the door as we both threw up the moment felix and mike opened the door.

End of flashback

I and jack finished what we needed to explain as there was silence for few minutes.

"So?......was that guy just normal like a normal human?" Asked yuki as i and jack nodded.

"And was eating a zombie like a zombie eats human?" Asked lia as she gagged.

"Yes but not really because he was eating just like us, he was eating normally like when we eat our meal." Jack said as he stretched out his right hand.

"I think he broke my arm" said jack as lia immediately started checking his arm.

"Hmm....how much distance were you guys from here?" Mike asked.

"50" i answered while jack was drinking water.

"Hmm this device detected a zombie in that radius." Said mike as we all looked up at him.

"It might be the one that was killed and eaten by that creepy guy" emily said.

"But this device cannot detect a dead zombie" said felix as he glanced at the detector device.

"What if that man is zombie and a human both?" Said lia as she hugged herself.

"It can happen.... because everything is possible." Said emily.

But before we can talk more, our door was stomped with an hard thing as we all flinched up at the loud sound. We all looked at the door.

"HUMAN, ALIVE"

Jack and i stood up immediately, as we dragged them inside the jeep. As now i sat at the driving seat. Everyone was shocked but before they can even say anything the door broke down and i immediately drove the car off crashing that man behind us.

'i know I'm an fucking cry baby and scaredy-cat but nah I'm not gonna loose any other friends. Let's bring back the old kai, enough of this shitty one.' i sped up the jeep untill we were straight out of the building.

But surprisingly there was no more zombies the only thing we saw was a man, looked like he was at his mid thirties with an body like a beast was standing in front of a jeep staring straight into my soul.

But before i know more we all were unconscious.

We woke up from our deep slumber just to find ourselves in a room with bloodstains all over the place.

I was sitting calmly beside mike while the others were walking around.

But for a reason mike whimpered as we all looked at him just to see him gripping on his arm that got a scratch last night.

His whole body was shaking and his body turned red. We all panicked as lia tried to help mike.

His body turned blue we all panicked more but we stepped back few steps on instincts when his eyes turned white.

'no no it can't be'

"Get out... get out... please fucking leave" mike begged us as we all just felt our worlds crumble. 

Just in a blink of an eye....mike turned into a zombie....we all stood still as we saw mike turning into a fucking zombie......
