S - Streets
Alicia ran along the S Street early in the morning . Her silky black hair flew mid air, revealing a face that seems to luck the vibe that every girl of her age should have. Despite that she kept flashing a sad smile.
" To me, the wonderful thing is my family, you are my world".
It was hot, really hot but she had to keep going she forced her legs to go faster so that she could reach in time at her first part-time job .
She arrived two minutes late at ADR Dry Cleaner and Laundry. It was the company under Adrian group of companies which offers dry cleaning, laundry as well as steam pressing.
Upon entering she met with cold eyes of the manager.
" Loving coming late, you low thing".
The manager reached out her hand and cruelly slapped her tiny face and chided her.
She had heard several time that Miss An dared to do anything to the workers since she was recommended by the distant relative from Bruno's family . Since she was responsible for overseeing the provision of laundry and dry cleaning services they had no other way than to endure everything.
As a laundry aide Alicia went off to wash and dry rugs, carpets as well as clothes.
After she finished everything , she was on her way to her next job when she heard some voices and made a stop.
" I love you so much Adrian, that am willing to do anything for you". The woman sounded emotional while crying.
" Love?" . Alicia heard a deep yet cold voice mixed with a chuckle and got flabbergasted due to his heartless tone.
"Yes I love you more than anything" . Alicia heard the woman voice once again.
Alicia hid behind the door to hear what the man was going to reply.
" Ooh" was all the man sayed.
Hahaha Alicia laughed at the same time wishing she could smack the man's head because he is too ruthless.
" Tell me Moana, What do you want from me ?, Is It the title of Mrs Adrian , or my wealth".
" You" I only want you Moana sayed while approaching Adrian, She came so close to his face and attempted to kiss his kissable lips.
But the man was one step ahead of her, He pushed her without restraining himself.
Alicia was once again shocked how could a man treat a woman like that, She was speechless.
" There's no us, and yes I can't bring myself to love such a shamless woman, wake-up Miss Mo be a proper young miss and don't force yourself on a man". There was no warmth in his voice while saying this.
" N...N...NO..It can't be Adrian, Aunt approves of us , She wishes us to be a thing please don't do this It'll hurt her".
" Should I use a mic?"
" Bu..t..but why?, I have everything a woman should have. Am pretty, rich and educated what else do you need?"
" Miss Mo you should know what is meant to be rejected.....about my mom I know what is best for my family and stop poking your nose around my family. "Albert come and see off Miss Mo".
Alicia was shocked to her wits as she watched the woman leaving, ooh Almighty am late again she screamed loudly while swearing that she would never beg for a man Love.
She dashed out like a speed of light ."Stop" the man ordered after he saw her.
" Mfyuu catch me If you can " she responded and dashed out the man was rendered speechless.
