Chapter 1 - Flashback
Clara Mitch’s POV
I woke up with a throbbing headache, I struggled to open my eyes as the sunlight shone on my face. My nose was assaulted by a reek of awful alcoholic smell coming from me. As I attempted to crawl out of bed with my eyes squinted, I felt the feel of the blanket against a large part of my skin, it felt as though there wasn’t much fabric that clothed me. Bewildered by the feel, I looked down at myself, only to gasp in disbelief at the sight I saw. “Why am I in my lingerie only?! Where’s my clothes? What happened last night?!” I thought to myself.
I turned my head around in panic, trying to figure out where my clothes were with my hands touching around the bed. My heart paused at what I felt with my hands when I grabbed something warm and hard, it felt like it was someone’s arm. I turned around and was shocked to see the muscular Luciano with a well-toned body laid next to me in his briefs only! The blood stains on the sheet caught my attention and it immediately set me up in a panic. Oh my god!! What the f*** happened last night?! Did something happen between Luciano and me? Are those blood stains of my virginity?!
I ran both of my hands through my head trying to cool myself down while attempting to piece up fragmented memories of last night. When Luciano started to shift his body a little in his sleep, I cringed and froze, hoping that he doesn’t wake up. There was this urge for me to get the hell out of here as soon as possible even though I haven’t figured out what happened. I quickly pulled a random dress over me. There was a mix of anxiety, frustration and helplessness in me as I sheepishly shafted my stuff into my luggage and crept out of the room as quickly as possible.
What was supposedly a sweet dream turned out as a nightmare... How could I be so stupid?!
