Skalds Verse 1
Here begins the tale of the Third Sun’s rise,
As Wemar’s banner stretched ’cross the skies.
The Fae, the trees, the dwarves, the seas,
All bent to the might of Wemar’s decrees.
But still, from the shadows, a darkness grew—
The Grey God’s hand, unseen, but true.
Beneath Roush’s stones, a dreamer lay,
Where forgotten verses had faded away.
A god’s cruel jest, a hidden scheme,
To strike at both mankind and Fae’s dream.
Thus came the Wemar-Fae Accords,
A pact to heal the world’s fractured chords.
A new age, a Matron’s reign to forge,
To free their souls from gods’ who gorge.
Each sacrificed their power as one,
But the Dragon Dalren would not be undone.
He saw the folly, refused the path,
Yet the Fae, in fear, ignored his wrath.
In chains they bound him, his cries unheard,
And crowned Wemar with a rose as their word.
This power, a force to bind and create,
But Dalren, forsaken, sealed his fate.
Still, mankind thrived from these wounds of strife,
Sowing new lands, defending life.
The Elder Fae were set to rest,
Their children wandering, untold, unblessed.
As the world grew quiet, the winds stood still,
If the gods still watched, there’d be none left to kill.
