Love
The man was nervous, fiddling about, walking up and down, his gaze kept going to the park's entrance, Love noted. He was a handsome man, a little over 6ft, brown hair, beautiful green eyes and to complete the look had worn a grey suit. It looked ridiculous on him, but, Love supposed, it would definitely please the lady he was meeting. The goddess was standing under a tree in the park observing, it calmed her heart to watch her match meet physically, she was taking a while and Love was worried that she had made a mistake connecting the two, but that could not be, she was the Goddess of love and sexuality so the probability of making a mistake was nil.
The weather was sunny today, and being midday the green of the grass seemed to glow from the sunlight, children were playing in the nearby swings and sands, people were running, others walking and a couple dogs could be seen accompanying their owners, the day was perfect for the date, Mat-the man, had planned. She didn't need to worry because a little later Aria, the awaited lady arrived, looking flustered and muttered something to Mat, before she could make out the words, a certain power seemed to arrive next to her causing the dogs running about to glance her way for a minute, before continuing their way.
'Loki, how nice of you to join me'
The being next to her shifted uneasily ' I hate that you can tell its me'
Love looked over at him curiously then, turned back to the couple, they were heading to the picnic get up. Figuring that her work would be done after checking in with them a couple times to determine their connection, she turned to Loki, who even though had changed his appearance to blonde hair, blue eyes, had the same haughty disposition.
'You don't really make for a good Thor' she said walking towards the portal that would lead her to her home, Loki followed after her.
Stepping into the portal that pulsed when they crossed over it, crossed over to Love's house. It was a lovely cottage surrounded with trees and wild animals that seemed especially excited when she arrived. For a brief moment she wondered where her pet Darcus was. Deciding to finish whatever conversation she was about to have with her brother, postponed calling Darcus to her. Darcus was a creature who could shape shift in anything it deemed appropriate for Love, being the only good thing-in Love's eye- that her mother gifted her before she disappeared. He could mirror her emotions, and when sensing danger that might befall her, could potentially result to a couple of injuries and property damage, for other people.
She opened her door revealing a lovely sitting area that had a fire place, a couple of artifacts given to her by some humans who pay tribute to her after finding their love, a couch and a laptop. That last one, was her latest hyper fixation she could not figure out how humans had created something so phenomenal.
'Love'
She turned now to her brother who had shed the disguise to his usual dark hair and green eyes.
'Father has summoned you, a couple times' Loki said to her, and Love winced slightly.
Yes she knew this, in her mind she figured, if she ignored the summons long enough he would get the hint and leave her alone.
'I've been busy' yea the excuse sounded lame even to her.
Loki moved forward, almost touching her, but reconsidered halfway and picked up a necklace on the high table next to her a cup of tea, the necklace was gifted to her by Ann Boleyn when she ensured her and Henry got together. Looking back, that particular relationship had been a mistake, not on her part, really, just Henry the eighth was a very difficult man to love.
'Put the necklace down, its precious' Love told Loki who seemed to squeeze it really tightly before gently placing it where it was previously.
'I was in Japan before I got father's call to come find you' Loki continued, settling in one of Love's seats and staring up to her continuing' you have to answer Love otherwise he'll come here by himself'
Yea that did not sound very appealing, when their father visited either of his children's home, every creature seemed so alert, he was connected to the very core of the universe such that, you could clearly feel, whatever he was feeling, animals especially seemed sensitive to his movements, minute they may be.
What Love wondered though was, why the summons, she was certainly not their father's favorite, Michael took that trophy. They had not talked since Love could remember, so what was the issue. The uncertainty got to her, and having relied on her instincts all her life, at the moment, they were haywire, what could he possibly want?
