"What a story! So it wasn’t the Moon Goddess that made wolves and vampires but it was the Druids?! An unusual and addictive plot that was dark and sad but also happy and sweet; very saucy at times as well. A very well written and edited book, I absolutely loved it. "
Amazing Story
"The characters are well developed. You find yourself rooting for the vampire and his companion. You aren't really aware of the time frame of the story other than it's during the time of the druids until the vampire gets an assassination order. Then, certain historical names make you realize it's set during Romes' occupation of Britain. It adds a bit of context to what had previously seemed like a pretty isolated story about a warrior turned vampire to protect his people and the young woman sent to be his companion. You begin to understand at that point why the druids went to such lengths and why the warrior volunteered to do this. I will admit the ending surprised me. I love this story. No notes on improving. From what I've seen, A run through Grammerly for the few mistakes I've noted in the side bar should do it. It's more ready for publishing than most of the books on here."
An origin story that is unusual, interesting, and chilling
"Gripping take on supernatural origins- I like that this tale was more of a historical fiction to explain the start of some of our favorite supernatural creatures with an unusual, rather dark romance woven in. I think the open ending fits perfectly with this book, but I was a little confused about Mira at the end; I won't spoil anything, though. So while I don't think a sequel is necessary, I wouldn't mind seeing a fast forward to how the world might look now as a result of the events in this novel. "
