"Im new to your stories. I read this one first, and its very good. I think you should encourage your readers to read them in order so they get a better relationship with each character. As usual im saddened when strong characters die. Its life and i keep a box of tissuesclose by, im hoping the Queen and King are fine in book 2 after all the endured."

"I can be hesitant with prequels, often I find myself struggling to engage with the storyline. I am glad I took a chance, as the author once again, captivates from the first chapter. Aubrey and Mazale are delightful, and it was wonderful learning more about some familiar favorites. The author created a lush history between the Kingdom and the Clergy, and it was absorbing reading about their relationship. Another well written, engaging, enjoyable read by an incredibly talented author. "
