I can’t believe she is still in a coma as Sara puts it. What, it has been over 2 and half months now? I have seen her eyeballs move and every now and again she would move her fingers, but Sara said it might not mean anything. She would be saying weird words, and I have stopped trying to follow them. She leaves for hours then comes back. I am tired of this I just want my girl back. Our mated life just started, and I want to grow old with her and have a yard full of pups.
“If you can hear me, you better start feeling better soon, or I am coming into that brain of yours and pulling you out. I miss you. Just touching your hand isn’t enough for me. I get back to the hall and everybody is standing against the wall and looking and watching my every move. I was about to growl but I could smell her. Of course, I could smell her before, but it hasn’t been as strong as it is right now. My heart is beating so fast. Sweet, sweet vanilla, I can’t believe how strong it is now. I take a sip of my coffee as I walk into her room and Abby, Nick, and Jax are standing right at the bed, I can’t see her. Jax turns and Abby moves him out of the way, and I see her. She is smiling and our eyes meet, and I dropped my coffee, and I practically jump on her.
“Baby, your awake. Oh my gosh. Why didn’t anyone tell me. Nick. Jax. Abby.” I look at them when I say their names.
“I told them not to. I didn’t want you to rush back from getting rest.” Her voice still sounds the sweetest ever. She patted the bed next to her. I sat down but she climbed on my lap, so I moved to the center of the bed. She sniffed my neck and held me so tight. I never want to let you go.
“I was thinking to same thing.” I kissed the side of her head, and I moved her hair so I could breathe in her scent more. It was strong just in the room, but I wanted to touch her as much as I can.
“I see our patient is awake.” The doctor came in and he smiled and checked on her then said she could go home tomorrow.
Can we have the room please, I promise everyone I will personally come to you when we are settled back at home. Maggie said through the mind-link to everybody. I didn’t have to say anything before everybody squeezed her leg or kissed her cheek and left.
She turned around and faced me in my lap and before I knew it, her lips crashed into mine. I was frozen but once I finally got my bearing, I deepen the kiss and my hands when straight for her ass and behind her neck into her hair. She moaned and her tongue darted out and I opened my mouth. It was like no time had passed. She moaned in my mouth, and she ran her hands down to my pants and started to undo them.
“Wait, I can’t believe I am stopping you but are you sure you’re ok?” I asked her as she is taking a big breath. Her chest is rising and falling.
“Of course I want to baby but you have been in a-“ I couldn’t finish but she cut me off.
“How about I tell you what happened and then we can finish where we left off?” She asked just smiling and playing with my hair on the back of my neck.
