This was a wild ride! And one I liked!
"I didn’t read the entire book, but the eight or so chapters I did read were absolutely wild and completely captivating. The plot jumps between characters quite a bit, and many of them are introduced in a short amount of time, yet it all manages to come together in a way that works surprisingly well. Every character is intricately tied to the central murder mystery, and that connection kept me on the edge of my seat. I found myself hanging on every word because I couldn’t wait to see what would happen next. And Doctor Theo, seriously, stop pretending to be so innocent! His character alone adds an extra layer of intrigue and mischief to the story, and I can’t help but want to see him get caught or reveal his secrets. The twists in the story so far completely shocked me. The author does a fantastic job of subverting expectations, keeping me guessing while still making everything feel plausible and well thought out. Each revelation had me reading slower just to process what had happened, and I appreciate a story that can surprise me this way. While the book could benefit from some additional editing, the story is so entertaining that I easily overlooked any minor issues. The pacing is fast, the tension is high, and the interactions between the characters are engaging and often quite amusing. If you are looking for a steamy, suspenseful mystery that mixes drama, intrigue, and clever twists, then look no further. This book is a thrilling ride that will keep you hooked, and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves being on the edge of their seat while also having a great time along the way."
