Day 3834: The Legend of Light
"Do you know the legend?", the deep voice of the tall man started the monologue, "The legend of Galeem?"
"Galeem may have been an angel, Galeem may have been a goddess... we will never know! But we will never forget her beauty! Her core shined in a warm gleam. Never blinding but also never fading. Her vibrant colors were never garish, neither they ever were any pale. She saw herself as pure perfection... and she wanted to spread her perfection all over space and time! The life, world and the universe how we see it and pretend to know it would have been gone, replaced by something Galeem meant to be better, perfect. However, where someone is who wants to change, there will be someone to fight it! It wasn't one individual or a group but an army, united to make sure that Galeem wouldn't win. She tried to fight with all she had to offer, tearing her enemies into their deaths! But in the end the number of the army was more than Galeem ever could have handled... she was overwhelmed and was given the final blow! She collapsed and fell in the ocean. Her corpses sank deep into where she was now meant to be forgotten by the ones who meant her end!"
The tall man, having long, silver hair, calmly ended the poetic telling of the story. He wore a black coat while caring a katana, that was uniquely long. Longer than the man himself and he himself already was around 2 meters.
The boy that listened to him was not human but a quite big turtle. May not even half the size of the silver-haired man but still way bigger than other turtles. His skin was in a darkened yellow tone, while his shell was green and stacked with sharp spikes. Around his neck was a mouth cloth which did have a sharp teethed grin depicted on it. The face of said boy showed a mixure of interest and confusion.
He began to speak pensively: "Nice story but why are you telling it when Galeem is gone for good?"
In this moment the ground mildly doddered in a step-based rhythm. The doddering intensified as the cause of it came closer and closer. It was another of these turtle beings. This one however was gigantic, about half a meter bigger than the man himself. That huge turtle had a more angular head having a determined look that yet showed something deep for the young turtle... it was the father of said young turtle. Right next to the father was an up-right standing wolf, one meter shorter than the huge turtle. His face was not only marked with an eye patch but also with the same determination and a more sinister and cold grin of the father! The one eye he got left was coloured in a piercing red. His one paw laid on his waist. The purple leather jacket that he wore hid a gun behind it.
The tall man explained calmly: "Her body and her soul may be dead but the essence that made Galeem Galeem is still deep in the oceans she was sunk into! A essence that would perfectly align to my power. As then I might finally overpower everyone else in this world and have the oppurtunity to claim what is meant to be mine." The tall man had turned his back on the other three to look on a huge map. He then further explains: "There were not many survivors of the war against Galeem. Out of them only three knew the coordinates of Galeems corpses and only one of them is still among us!" He then pulled his Katana and in a blink of an eye he pierced the tip of it into the map. The map didn't shake or tear. The impact was short and went quiet quickly.
Directly over the tip was the name of the kingdom the tall man pointed with his weapon. The cursive font said "Mushroom Kingdom".
That was the moment the young turtle gasped: "Princess Peach Toadstool!" The boy wasn't able to hide his now awakeney curiosity and interest. Unsure by what he should think, he turned to his father who nodded calmly. The tall man then elucidates: "The coordinates are on the required documents and these are in the palace of the princess, stored and locked away! In order to secure the informations, we need to invade the kingdom!"
The turtle boy still seemed unsure. The standing wolf sees this and speaks in an energetic, strong voice: "Tell him, what's in it for us! Maybe he'll be convinced then!"
The tall man nodded slowly and spoke: "Your father explained to me how much he and you desire a complete family! He needs a loving and caring wife... and you need a mother." The eyes of the boy widened while the tall man continues: " I will let your father rule and as new king of the two kingdoms, he will unite and marry the princess. She will finally become your mother!"
The boy turns back to his father. More interested. He looked into the eyes of his father with an disbelieving suprisement and a bit of hope. Then he more slowly turned back to the man and nodded reverently.
The father then finally started speaking with a deep, powerful voice: "This is my son. Now come on! We have a kingdom to conquer!", as he turned around and walked. The tall man follows him with elegant steps while the boy and the wolf remain staying in place.
The wolf then took a few steps towards the tall man quickly and asked: "Hey! You forgot to tell us your name!"
The tall man stopped and turned his head to them both. He puffed amused and smiled determined: "You can call me by the name of Sephiroth." With this words he continued walking without asking the wolf for his name!
