Night

Night,

How peaceful I find it,

When the chaos fades, and everything seems quiet.

Without the people who always contend,

I find solace where things are just right.

Though darkness spreads, yet everything shines,

Bathed in a silver moonlight.

From a cliff’s edge, the view seems so grand,

But hold your breath and sit tight.

The moon and stars gleam from afar,

Trust me, it's a beautiful sight.

This darkness fades as dawn draws near,

Yet these moments are the ones full of delight.

Everything seems small, swallowed by the night,

You just have to see it from a greater height.

And now, as the stars slowly take flight,

Find rest in a café, with warmth and light.

The sky blushes pink, the sun’s first embrace,

And shadows retreat, giving way to white.

And when evening returns, with its starry flight,

You’ll welcome once more the serenity of night.
