Official Entry 5
Official Log Entry 5: Day 5 of 15
Date: January 10th, 2025 Time: 16:30 PM
Location: North Cascades National Park, Mount Baker Wilderness - WA, 25 miles from the cave.
Unit: DRV-666
Rank: Captain
Unit ID: JD-DRV-666 Name (last, first): Darling, John
Subject(s) of study: Being of Unknown Origin, code name - B.U.O.
Speed: Unknown - cannot get close enough to measure accurately. Approximation - 60 MPH full speed sprinting. No further data is known. Estimation is based on conversations with locals who have encountered being and survived.
Strength Rank: Unknown
Findings and Information Gathered:
According to locals and partial footage - B.U.O is about nine to ten feet tall. It has long black or brown hair, sharp teeth and red eyes, with long arms and claws, and it stands like a man. When present, a heavy pressure can be felt on the subject under its observation. Subjects typically cannot move. If this is true, I suspect this is how it hunts its prey. Immobilization with speed seems to be its preferred method. It may be nocturnal, sightings happen most often at night according to locals from the towns outside of the park.
Notable Sightings: 1 partial sighting was recorded on my cameras January 5th at 2:00 AM, but nothing on the forest cameras since then. Last known location of B.U.O. was approximately eight miles NW from Copper Ridge trailhead.
