Chapter 1: The collisions and connections

The bustling Muggle street felt like an entirely different world to Henry Potter. For the first time in his life, he was without magic’s familiar hum around him. Sent by his parents into hiding, Henry was also tasked with uncovering clues about the rising suspicious activities caused by Death Eaters and Dementors, especially their sudden interest in lingering around the muggle world, it was though they were in search of something, something big and important to them. The assignment weighed on his mind, but there was a sense of loneliness too being away from his sister, family and friends, alone into a world he knows little about.

As he wandered, lost in thought, a sudden impact jolted him. His wand and a few other belongings tumbled from his hands onto the pavement.

"Oh my gosh, I’m so sorry!" a voice said, bending down beside him. "That was totally my fault!"

Henry blinked, looking up to see a girl with wide, apologetic eyes. She quickly handed him his belongings and for a moment, their hands brushed. He froze, unsure of what to say. The girl glanced at the wand for a second too long before handing it back.

She chooses not to ask about it but she recalls seeing wands in the Harry Potter films she had been watching at home for years. His heart pounded, and for some reason, he couldn’t look away from her. She seemed familiar in a way that made no sense.

“I'm really clumpsy, I hope I didn’t cause too much trouble,” she smiled warmly as she turned, jogging toward a nearby restaurant.

Henry watched her go, feeling an odd pull to follow her, though he wasn’t sure why. His thoughts jumbled together, leaving him rooted to the spot. When she disappeared inside, he finally moved, but he couldn’t shake the strange sensation she left behind. It was like she knew more than she let on, and for the first time since coming to the Muggle world, Henry felt curious. Curious enough to return the next day to the restaurant he saw her walk into the previous night.

He found himself sitting at a small corner table in the same restaurant. Harmony was there, taking orders with a bright smile. She seemed surprised but amused when she saw him. “Wow, twice in two days?”

“Yeah,” Henry mumbled, feeling awkward. “What can I say? It’s a nice place.”

She laughed lightly, delivering his coffee. “Well, let me know if I can get you anything else.” The girl tells him "maybe your name" he replies and she simply smiles then walk away while trying not to get involved with him

As Henry sipped his coffee, he noticed a young boy entering and approaching the girl, the two shared a hug that made Henry wonder if they were together. He watched them from the corner of his eye, seeing how easily they laughed together as they closed down the restaurant. There was a tight bond between them — something that intrigued him even more. It seemed the girl had a world of her own, one that pulled Henry deeper the more he observed.
