Chapter i
Please note that the following short story is for readers seeking a high-intensity experience, but please be aware that it is presented with low production quality. Expect abrupt transitions, rough dialogue, and an unrefined narrative style. Liana Nell:
She represents a white Daisy. Delicate. She is kind, quiet and pure to perfection. She works as a psychologist, treating the worst of the worst. Although.... she is not as innocent as the world may think. She has secrets. Dark ones
Christopher King:
The god of hell. A true psychopath. He reaps the souls of those who look at him wrong. He has no remorse. Mercy does not exist in his stormy world. He takes joy in the blood that he sheds of those who cross his path.
What happens when she is assigned to him. She tries to treat him. To fix him. Is he even able to be fixed? Their stories are brought together by a wicked game played by them. He finds it fun. She doesn’t look to enjoy it on the outside, but, deep down she finds the thrill exciting.
What happens when you cross death and a flower? If you lock a psychotic devil with a person that is the literal description of an angel. After all, she may be a fallen one.
Well, witness the truth unravel. It’s too good be true, little do we all know the secrets that lie beneath the surface.

Why is there no picture?
I carry on reading the profile with wide eyes. Gulping from nervousness as I am dealing with someone the same as me. I have never known someone the same. I gave in and take pills to get rid of it, which doesn’t work much. But... nobody knows and I intend on keeping it that way.
“Wow, Uhm......Red I can try but I may not be successful.” I say in a flabbergasted tone to my partner, closing the file of my supposed next client.
“I am sure you will do great L.”
Redvard Helm is a partner of my firm, Elmstreet Psychologists. He is not necessarily the boss. I am, however the reason why I made him my partner is because he is one of the best psychologists I know. He works very hard. He is more like a friend to me than a partner because we have known each other since high school. We even studied together. He wanted more than to be friends but was luckily not persistent when I said no. I didn’t see him that way, and if anything, I saw him more as a brother. And besides, he found someone even better, and now they are happily married.
“Okay, just because I am kind and I like helping others I will fly to Italy and see what I can do. Just better not hope I get killed because of you.” I say, giving in from his constant whining because he doesn’t want to do it. “You think he would kill someone as kind hearted and nice as you?” He cautiously enquired. “Well, I mean, he is level 4... who knows what he is capable of.” I say nonchalantly. “I don’t think he would do that to you, I mean look at you!" He says, being a little too persistent.
He is acting bit suspicious, don’t you think Lia?
Latvia says, I thought I got rid of you.
I’m apart of you! You can never get rid of me. I’m your little secret love, I bring your true side out... the person that you truly are but too afraid to bring out... coward.
Oh shut the fuck up, I scowl at her.
“Oh, well... let’s hope I just don’t mess this up, it’s a lot of money being offered, so I don’t want to lose him too soon.” I look up at Red standing nervously in front of my desk. “You won’t, you will do perfect, I know you will.” He gives me a very big fake smile... which is not like him, but I don’t push him on why he is acting this way. I think he is just nervous that I say no because he really does not want to do this job.
I am glad he has so much confidence in me considering I can get killed before he even takes a breath. He carries on smiling widely at me while I start getting ready for my next appointment. It’s an old lady who lost her husband a few months back and comes to me for a crying session so that I can cheer her up. I like being her shoulder to cry on considering all her children are overseas now. I mean how could they just leave this poor woman all alone.
I look up to see Redvard still grinning widely at me. I give him a small one back. “What’s wrong, Red” I ask knowing he wants a favour. “Oh nothing, I was thinking that maybe you could give me your clients while you are away?” And there it is. ” No, I love my clients, don’t you have Aunt Marge you need to take care of?” I ask, I know he dislikes dealing with her, that’s why I bring it up all the time. She has a serious thing for him and I am pretty sure he is the only reason she visits. I doubt she even had any problems to begin with. At least she pays for the time she spends here though. I love that she contributes, she is a really nice lady I would say.
“Seriously?” He gives me a deadpan look. “Come on please just this once while you are away?” And yet again, I give in, I roll my eyes with a small smile. “Fine, just this once. You will have to give poor old Aunt Marge a call now then before she rocks up here and gets a disappointing result.”
I hate it when people want my clients, if I am not busy with them then I don’t have a cooking clue on earth what I would do. I do not have a long attention span unless I am dealing with my clients.
****
I pack my things up, getting ready to go home...it’s currently 6 pm and I am exhausted. I still need to pack for this trip tomorrow. Yay, I get to go to Italy. Yet I don’t know how long it will be for.
As I am about to exit my office Red pops his head in. “Night L, once again, thank you for doing this for me.” I look up at him, staring at his blue eyes, seeing a sparkle of excitement in them. “Night Helm. Oh, by the way, what time is my flight?”
============
Christopher POV:
I walk down the dark, cold hallway wiping the blood off of my hands with a small cloth, laughing darkly to myself re-picturing the life leaving his body as I stabbed the long nail through his heart. I watched how the light had drained out of his eyes, making them go dark, cold and lifeless.
A lot like ours.
Damian, my inner voice talks.... Yes I did have to give him a name. He has been with me for as long as I can possibly remember. Even though he is a pain in the ass and enjoys killing, he is a part of me that I will never get rid of.
I make my way to the elevator underneath my office building, the basement here is used to run my mafia. Nobody knows about it. I use my secret encrypted card, swiping it and walking in when the elevator doors open. I press the button for my office and swipe my card again, making sure the elevator setting does not allow the elevator to go to the basement.
Once I get to my office I pack my things up, getting ready to head back to Italy after dealing with some business here. Hearing my phone ring, I pick it up without looking at the caller ID.
“What!” I ask spitting into the phone with an annoyed tone. There are a few seconds before Dominico, my pilot speaks, “Sir, sorry to be a bother, would you like me to prepare your jet?” Seriously? “Did I fucking ask for my jet to be prepared?” I speak coldly. “No-” I cut him off before he could speak further.
***
This game will be so much fun! Be prepared for a game peasants. I fucking hate people.
I smirk at Damian in agreement.
I am due to board a regular flight tomorrow at 11:30 back to Italy, because my brother, Vitale, also second in command, wants to get me a new psychologist. He complains that I just kill them all, little does he realise that they don’t help but invade my private mind and waste my time. I promised him I would try one more and that’s it, otherwise I will go on another killing spree, not like I don’t kill over 1000 people a year anyway.
Let’s just say that I have a rather exciting flight planned for tomorrow.
***
I drive to one of my clubs, at a suicidal speed, not that I am in a hurry, I am the boss, so I can be however late I want to be... I love the thrill of a dangerous situation. It calms my mind for a few seconds.
Once the meeting is over, I make my way to my penthouse, undoing the buttons of my dress shirt on my way up the stairs to the second floor. Yeah it gets lonely sometimes, but it doesn’t bother me. I like my personal space.
I take a hot shower before doing some work in my home office.
Chris, when are you going to find a girl? I mean, you have to settle down one day. You can’t just fuck random chicks your whole life... it’s also not only you that’s affected, I need someone to connect, I am starting to get hungry with that missing feeling. That was random
No, Damian, I am only 26. And since when do you tell me what the fuck to do.
Oh fuck off man, I been telling you what to do since you were 13, you and I both know I am right.
Bullshit. I mutter to myself. I don’t need anyone. I don’t need more people invading my space. I already have a goddamn psychologist here tomorrow, I don’t need more people near me.
