“Grapple or Die” is about a jiu-jitsu team from Rio who traveled to Miami Florida for a jiu-jitsu Competition and ran into tragedy. The jiu-jitsu team is attacked by prejudice thugs who hate South Americans. After badly wounding the thugs in self-defense, the jiu-jitsu team becomes terrified of having to face charges in the United States, because there were no witnesses or surveillance cameras to back up their story. They flee back to Rio without notifying the police. Three detectives travel to Rio to investigate, suspicious of why the jiu-jitsu team would flee back to Rio without police notification. This action-packed thriller is in line with “Never Back Down” meets TV series “Hawaii 5-0.”
