Money. Currency. Dollars. They say such a thing makes the Earth rotate... or rather "Money makes the world go round!" Those with or without money say and indeed they were correct. Yet, the rich man says, "Money can't buy happiness!" However, to the poor it does. Nouveau Riche. Nouveau Riche is a person who has recently acquired wealth, typically those perceived as ostentatious or lacking in good taste. Those people flaunt their wealth as if we were never in the same situation as them. Pathetic. ~ Life was one of the things that gave Fleur the hardest hit. Misfortune after misfortune happened in her seventeen years of life. Until a rich man extended his hand to her with an interesting deal. "Listen here, kiddo. I will sponsor you for college and take care of your mother's hospital bills." Says the neatly dressed man. Fleur looked at him, her eyes filled with distrust and conflicting emotions. "You really did your research," she stated with a sneer making the man chuckle. A moment of silence passed before she inquired, "So, what's the catch?" The man grinned satisfied, "Your talents cannot go to waste. Thus, anytime my family business is in trouble... How about you help out then?" The strong confidence in the man, made Fleur narrow her eyes. "What should I call you?" A glint of satisfaction flashed through the man's sly emerald-green eyes. "Call me, Mr. Ambrose."

Nouveau Riche. A nouveau riche is a person who has recently acquired wealth, typically one perceived as ostentatious or lacking in good taste. These people flaunt their wealth as if we were never in the same situation as them. It's pathetic.

A glint of relief flashed through the man’s sly emerald-green eyes. “Call me, Mr. Ambrose.”
