Summary

The inhabitants of the year 2045 are the last of their kind who remember what life was like before the creation of artificial intelligent humanoids. This is the story of a girl and boy left in the wake of the permanent changes in their world. Delilah's formative years at Haven College for Young Intellectuals both defined and destroyed her life. Now twenty-three, she's left struggling with the aftermath of what was supposed to propel her into a successful life. After fading into an indifferent age in which AI is on the precipice of replacing the human workforce entirely, she's doing what she can to find purpose. When the past she has been running from re-materializes in her life, she must finally face it and learn how to fight for something she never has before: love. "You have the memories, you remember, and so you feel Delilah. I can only feel it. Even if you don't think it's something I'm capable of, I know what I feel is real."
