Chapter 1
While Colors lay on the living room couch, while the fire in the chimney roams with its rarity, unique violet flames. While he lays on the couch, something pokes him multiple times. Colors jumps out of the couch & falls on the floor. Plant was the man who poked him. Colors stood up & dust himself, “Woah, Plant.. I didn’t know that you like sneaking up behind people. Especially today out of all days.”
Plant leans closer to him, tilting his head towards Colors. He shrugs, “What do you mean?”
Colors jumps on Plant, causing him to fall down on the floor, SPLAT. Plant groans due to the hard fall. While Color pins him down, he looks closer at Plant’s face.
Red walked in, “I’m not going to question what is going on.”
Plant leans his head down to the group, staring at Red, “It’s not what it looks like!”
“Okay, buddy,” Red walked out to the living room & into the other rooms.
When Plant looks back at Colors, Colors grab both of his cheeks. Plant sighs, “So, what did you mean ‘today out of all days’?”
Colors look closer into Plant’s eyes “It’s .. the s..spo..oooky day!!” Thunder from afar roars bravely as a lion. He gets up & starts running around the living room with his arms flying around.
Plant chases him down & holds his arms together to make him intact, “Calm down, we don’t even celebrate that holiday on this planet!!”
“B-but, something spooky could happen.” Colors rushes out of the room.
Plant decided to chase him down, going into Color’s room. There was some random bush on the floor of Color’s room. Plant examines the bush, wondering if Plant has finally understood the culture of plants & started to grow plants in his room. While Plant started whispering to the bush, the bush started to shake rapidly. The bush seems to grow 7 feet tall, looming over Plant. Plant collapses on to the ground, his mouth wide open, staring at the bushy beast. The beast places his arms in an attacking position towards Plant, while screeching at him. Colors jump out of the closet & jumped onto Plant’s head. Plant jumps up & runs out of the room while Colors hangs on his head. Plant decided to go to his own bedroom & lock the bedroom door as they both entered. “Why are we here? Didn’t we just almost get attacked by a bush!?!?”
Pant nodded in agreement & started planting peashooters, “It’s because I got these peas, they’re trained to shoot monsters like zombies.”
“Isn’t that the peashooter from Plant vs. Zombies?”
Plant pushes Colors down while being red, “Yes, it is.” Plant lies right next to Colors. While they both looked at the ceiling, a knock came from the door.
“Colors, I need your help on something.” A familiar voice calls for him.
Colors was getting up, but Plant pulled his arm towards him. “Don’t go, it might be able to mimic voices.”
“Don’t worry, I’ll check on the cracks on the door.” He puts his head up against the floor. He sees the familiar red feet, it was indeed him, Red. Colors opens the door.
“Hey, Colors.” Colors yank him into the bedroom. “Why did you do that for?”
“The monster might be out there,” Colors shook Red while having his hands on his shoulders.
“Even if there’s a monster, shouldn’t we just burn down the house?”
“Hmm, what Plant’s room?”
“Don’t worry, if we burn down the house, it surely won’t burn down his room.”
“I guess, but isn’t plants really flammable?”
“Nuh-uh.”
Red takes Colors outside of the room & hands him a match. Colors lights up the match, while Red puts gasoline all over the living room. Colors drops the match after Red’s disappearance. Colors lie in the living room, while it’s on fire. Plant opens the door, “Why is the house on fire?”
“I thought it was a good idea to get rid of the monster.”
Plant goes towards him, “You, dufus. What about my plants?” Plant starts to cough.
“Oh.”
“Didn’t you think this is probably a bad idea?”
“B-but R-”
Then the monster appears & roars, Plant rushes out of the room, leaving Colors to defend himself. He throws him a crumpled up piece of paper. The monster roars even more, growing even bigger. Colors starts to inhale more smoke in the room while breathing heavily & coughing. Then a random blast of water enters the room, putting out the flames, Colors turns around to see Plant holding a big hose. The monster grabs Colors & about to sprint out. Plant started to blast water on the monster. The monster’s skin which seems to be a bush starts to peel off, it reveals a reddish hue, it was Red underneath the costume.
“Are you kidding me?!” Plant runs over to Red, beating his skull. “What are we going to do with this house?”
Red giggles, “You’re truly are silly if I was that dumb, this was just a dream-”
Plant gets up from his sleep in a bolt, sweating & breathing heavily. He looks down & sees Colors hugging his mossy block of dirt as a pillow. While he looks around his room, he sees a white man, dressed a bit fancy, his bow & tophat matches the color of his wings, dark but beautiful. His one eye that he has blinks at Plant, then disappears. Plant has seen this man somewhere, but cannot recall where he saw this man.
