Last days of vacation

It was a summer afternoon, Sofía used to go to the lake for a walk, as it was a very beautiful place, there was a dock and in front there were some green hills for grass, she loved to go there and imagine the life of her dreams, sofía was rather a lonely girl, she did not have many friends, she loved spending time in nature, she used to sit at the end of the dock, and she began to imagine that she had friends, that she had the physical appearance she wanted, at school the boys used to exclude her, and the boy she liked, was with another very pretty girl, and he did not notice her, but she was very romantic and had always dreamed of having a beautiful love, where she was reciprocated and valued, that summer was her last vacation before entering university, that had her excited but at the same time nervous since she did not know if she would be able to have friends if she would be accepted by the boys or not, that afternoon she decided to put aside her worries, and focused on taking advantage of her last days at the lake, and went to her favorite place the dock, it was a very pleasant afternoon, she went up the stairs and looked at the camera, She walked up the ladder and began to walk along the pier. The view was very beautiful, it made her feel like her dreams could come true. When she reached the end of the pier, she sat down and began to imagine that she had met a very handsome boy. She was very romantic, she had always wanted to have a beautiful love like those seen in movies, but she had never had a boyfriend. When she was a teenager, that made her very sad, but with the passage of time, she learned to be alone. You don’t need to be in a relationship to be happy. Being alone can connect with yourself, meditate, and learn to love yourself. As she sat by the lake, she began to imagine that she was beautiful and that she was wearing a beautiful dress. She imagined herself standing at the end of the pier and that a handsome boy was approaching her. He loved her sincerely. He was tall, had a beautiful light brown hair and beautiful eyes with long eyelashes. He was the boy from school that she had always been in love with. His name was Lucas. He approached her, put his arm around her, and pulled her closer. She looked at him and looked at the beautiful landscape, hugging each other. She felt those moments as if they were real. What she felt for him, she had not felt for any other boy. She felt that if he gave her a chance, they could have a very beautiful and magical connection. But he was with other girls, who although they were very pretty and popular, were more superficial and empty than violet. She knew that the love she felt and the connection she had with him was truer. She had not seen him for a year. He had changed schools the last year before college. They had lost contact since then, since he had moved to another bigger city, where he had made many new friends, and he had forgotten about her, or that is what violet felt. She was a simple girl, she used to go unnoticed. The times that she had been interested in a boy, he did not notice her or did not reciprocate, so she had never had a relationship, but she had learned over time to be alone, to be happy being alone. She liked spending time in nature, or riding her bike, although she also liked to be alone. I wished I could have more friends and travel.

MaybeInACentury: This is probably the best book I've ever read in a really really long time. I couldn't stop once I started. Golden find. Though I do wish the story was written in present tense rather than in past tense, or had an epilogue about what is happening now, it is a masterpiece.

Tamalar Burton: I was overwhelmed with feeling when the story started. Everything she went through at early pregnancy was a little scary but it seemed to work out really well. There were even some funny moments. It was a very romantic story.
