"I am so amazed how much thought and investigating has gone in to this story. I have lived in Hawaii, born and bred, since 1968. I am so enjoying reading about all the characters in this story that I have known in the past. All of the Hawaiian places mentioned that I have gone to. It means so much to me that as an author you have taken the time to make sure that all the reading is based on genuine Hawaiian customs and traditions. I married one of the surfers you mentioned. I have spread ashes in the ocean and regularly eat at the Canoe Club. Brings back so many memories as Rev Arakawa was an integral part of my husband's family.
