Chapter One: One Down
Glacier walled across a path showing her cubs the way around the mountains. Her paw prints show them the way if they got lost. Glacier was friends with the lynxes, too. She told them that they were safe with the lynxes. She also told them about the animals that shouldn’t be underestimated. “Cubs, you will be powerful and ruthless leopards when you are older. Your instincts guide your every action. It will keep you safe. But of course, stay together.” Everest looked up at Glacier and said, “Mommy, I sensing you getting caught!” Glacier rose her ears and barred her teeth. She was in a net a second later! “Cubs, run!” She tried clawing at it, but the material was too strong.
Everest, Winter, Pixel, and Misty ran straight to the lynxes. Hazel, Leader of Lynxes knows that the cubs are Glacier’s. “Hello Apprentices of Glacier. I am Hazel, Leader of Lynxes.” Pixel immediately spat, “We need help!” Hazel seemed interested in what he had to say. “Glacier gotted caught!” Hazel’s eyes widened. “Alright, crew let’s head out!” 21 lynxes exited their dens! Pixel was extremely excited!
