Summary

Recent high school graduate Sarai Coleman relocates from New York with her family to Hellford, Texas, when her father receives a too-good-to-be-true promotion. Refusing to babysit her bratty sister for the summer, Sarai elects to get a summer job to save money before leaving for college. After submitting numerous online job applications, she finally receives a call back from Ice Scream, a local ice cream truck company. She passes the phone interview with flying colors and is told to be ready for on-the-job training the next day. Sarai quickly realizes a few things after becoming an official employee of Ice Scream: #1 - Ice Scream is a front for paranormal activities. #2 - The town is named Hellford for a reason. #3 - Her co-worker is a full-fledged demon. #4- She may or may not have pledged herself to him with one handshake. #5 - She believes Devin is from Australia because he keeps calling her mate...
