"I read this one first and now I’m planning to go back and read the rest of the desperate series. LOVED this! The drama keeps you on the edge of your seat and the romance, although a bit more of a slow burn, brings alllll the spice! The characters were lovable and filled with complexity. The supernatural world the author built is vast and unique, making it so pleasantly wonderful to get lost in. 10/10 would read again and recommend. Thank you author, beautiful job! ❤️"

"This book was a slow burn full of twists and turns. The two leads were different species who were drawn together despite her being in a relationship. It had the romance plot as well as a mystery plot and there was good balance between the two and both held my attention. A very well written book!"
