Chapter 1
Glenn’s POV
I’m awake, but my eyes are closed. I’m feeling weird. Like something is missing…?
Could that be it? How could it be, since I have everything? I decide to ignore the feeling and let my mind focus on yesterday, and on Amy.
I smile, just from that memory because after I met her yesterday, we had such a great time together.
And then my smile turns into more of a frown because, out of nowhere, she then just suddenly got up and didn’t come back.
I, on other hand, waited for her whilst thinking of all that had happened between us, but the one thing that didn’t even cross my mind then is that she had left. Why? Because they never leave. Not willingly anyway.
You actually have to chase them away or leave them yourself. The moment you spend time with them, they become clingy, thinking that it is more than what it is.
I can never understand why anyone would want to be so besotted with another that they feel that they can’t function without them.
I have encountered too many of those situations in my life, to the extent where I decided that we spend that time together, and then I leave them, without a backward glance.
They must not try to call me, and they must not bother asking me to call them.
It seems that Amy is an exception because I have just woken up now to that weird feeling I mentioned at the beginning, and I think I’m also regretting the fact that I didn’t do anything to persuade her to stay with me for a while longer.
I’ve never felt that way with anyone before, so it is kind of stupid to start now with a stranger. But still, the feeling is there. I really wish I had thought of stopping her from going away.
What is the matter with me? I feel like I’m going crazy. I need to snap out of it!
I take a few deep breaths, and my thoughts are clearer now. Or at least I believe they are. My phone then rings, and I take it out of my pants pocket. Jason is on the other side.
Me: Yeah?
Jason: Hey bro. The meeting is starting in 10 minutes, and you are still not here. Are you running late or something?
I still have the same feelings lingering in me so, I close my eyes to try and pull myself together, but I can’t shake them off.
The fact that I woke up missing her and also the one that I have no idea about who exactly she is, except for her name or where I can find her because she never gave me a chance to ask her, are both making me feel frustrated.
I want to see Amy again, but since I don’t know where she is right now, or even her place of residence, I’m going to have to spend the day, today searching for her, maybe on line or something. On my own. Because I don't want anyone else to know about these feelings I'm having over some girl.
Jason: Glenn, are you good ? The delegation is already here…
Me: Postpone, or cancel the whole thing, altogether. I won't be coming.
Jason: You don’t sound too good, buddy. Are you alright?
Me: I don’t want to talk about it right now. I’ll call you later
I cut off the call and start getting ready to go on my new mission. The one to find that woman who is making me feel these new, weird feelings.

Great start
Hey,
I just finished reading your story and I really loved it. The characters felt so real and every scene kept me completely engaged. I also have a few ideas on how we could enhance it visually if you are open to exploring them.
