Such potential, until it made a wrong turn
"This had such potential, it intrigued me from the summary and although it was both ongoing and over 100 chapters long I decided to give it a shot. I do so enjoy the billionaire series, watching the moments when the jaded billionaire sees something that just rocks his world and changes his mindset. We were getting there and then it crossed a line in what I enjoy reading. The billionaire is chasing his one night stand, convinced he must have her. She does her damnedest to get away from him but power and money can close doors faster than the FL can open them. Where the author lost me was when the ML digs up dirt on the FL and basically blackmails her into becoming his sex slave. To read her character essentially forced into that sort of thing, not because he wants her...no that would be at least worthy, no...he wants to sleep with her enough times to get her out of his system. Maybe it changes, maybe it doesn't. But I have zero interest in reading further. To the author, I wish you well in your future endeavors, but a free tip from an avid reader. Nothing needs to exceed 80 chapters. Anything longer than that and it's unrepeatable, and I truly enjoy rereading books. I would rather see a book end and a new one begin then to slog through a plethora of chapters that I can only read once. "
