Bittersweet Journey

"I’m honestly not sure what to say without giving anything away 😅 so I’ll keep it spoiler-free. The story offers a great blend of drama and romance—but that’s just the surface. Beneath it, the life of an ordinary girl is explored beautifully through Hiba’s character, touching on many real and meaningful aspects. The story also conveys a subtle message—that when we fail to appreciate the blessings around us, we can fall into something as consuming as depression, which gradually takes away everything we have... even life itself. 💭 If you enjoy drama and romance, you’ll definitely like this—but the ending comes with a warning, so read at your own risk. For the brave readers out there, this one is highly recommended! 📚✨"

What will happen when a particular person is caught stealing a diary and lying about it...

"An artist gained inspiration from a diary that he was given permission to use for inspiration; but he was unaware that the diary had been stolen by the person who had given him permission to use it... But now the truth is being revealed, and how will he and the diary’s true owner handle this situation where someone stole a diary and lied about it?... I’ve finished the first 7 chapters of this story so far, and I’m enjoying this book a lot and the characters are very intriguing and I’m very curious to discover what will happen next in the story... I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to reading the rest of it."

Rink of Regret

" I really love the writing that revolves around diary. Diary that pushed Haris and Hiba away but in the end it pulled them together. Hiba carrying the past traumas and Haris choosing her. Hiba is the mirror of every girl who is dreaming of Independence at the cost of self-sabotaging. Btw Haris ka kiya? Kese focus kere ga wo ab apniii game per? "

An emotional journey through art and betrayal

"This story carries a quiet emotional depth that lingers with you even after you stop reading. Hiba’s character feels sincere and layered — there is strength in her vulnerability, especially in the way she turns to art as both an escape and a form of healing. What touched me the most is how painting is not just a passion for her, but a reflection of her inner world. The symbolism in her artwork adds another dimension to the narrative, revealing pain, loss, and unspoken betrayal without needing dramatic scenes. It feels intimate and personal. The emotional tension surrounding trust and disappointment is handled in a subtle but impactful way. As a reader, you begin to question alongside her, to feel her confusion and hurt. That connection makes the story engaging on a deeper level. There’s a softness in the writing, but also an undercurrent of sadness and unresolved conflict that keeps you curious. I’m especially interested to see how the themes of trust, love, and self-growth will unfold as the story progresses. It’s a heartfelt story about loss, passion, and the fragile space between hope and betrayal."

More Than a Love Story

"This story really surprised me in the best way. At first, it feels like a classic romance setup - an artist with a quiet soul crossing paths with a famous hockey player - but very quickly it turns into something much deeper. Hiba is such a well-written character. She isn’t just the “shy and pretty heroine” you might expect; she’s a woman shaped by grief and betrayal, someone who uses her art to process loneliness and protect her heart. That made her struggles and emotions feel very real and relatable. I also loved how the author balanced passion with pain. The romance is full of tension and misunderstandings, and Hussain’s manipulation adds that extra layer of intrigue. It kept me turning pages because I wanted to know how Hiba would handle it all, and whether Haris could break through the walls around her heart. The twists in this story hit hard, and the ending especially left me shocked. It’s not the neat, fairytale resolution some might expect, but that’s also what makes it powerful. Life isn’t always fair, and the book doesn’t shy away from showing that. Overall, this isn’t just a romance. It’s also about loss, trust, and the heavy weight of regret. The writing style is engaging and immersive, the emotions come through strongly, and Hiba may be one of the author’s most dimensional characters yet. If you enjoy stories with both love and real emotional depth, this is definitely worth reading."

Where love meets regret

"Some stories leave scars on your heart, and this is one of them. I just loved your writing, it’s amazing to see such talent at such a young age. The plot was truly captivating and kept me hooked throughout, and I loved how beautifully you described Turkey, Canada, and Malaysia. I really feel bad for Haris. Honestly, Haris should’ve just shown Hiba the sketch he made of her, maybe then she wouldn’t have done something so tragic xD. Whenever you see a red flag, you should walk away, no matter how deeply you’re into someone. Hiba should have erased Hussain from her life completely, as if he never even existed. Maybe the day she took that step, she wouldn’t have looked back at Hussain or her painful past instead, she should have focused on her Haris, who loved her so much. Always try to stay positive and open up to your friends about what you feel, and friends must be supportive instead of making fun. But overall, I really loved this story and encourage everyone to read it so they never end up taking their own lives. "

Review

"Hiba's story is relatable to the young generation and they should read it in order to understand their feelings better. At points, I thought she was an attention seeker- always thinking negatively but she was rarely negative. She was a lover and a joyful person. A traveller, an artist. But deep inside, she was nothing but a depressed soul. I don't know why people feel like that, just stay happy but perhaps staying happy is not easy for them. The story touched hearts on a deeper level and one should read it. "

Rink of regret - The bestest so far🙌

"Hi Abeer, First of all, I must say your writing has improved so much! They say the talent is always there, it just needs polishing, and I truly believe that now. You’ve gotten so good over time, and it makes me so happy to see a young girl like you inspiring others to write simply because they can. One of the things I loved most about this book was the way you portrayed Hiba’s feelings. I think we all found a piece of ourselves in her, that’s why we stayed so connected to her journey and rooted for her till the very end. There’s a saying: “Nobody can ever heal you.” People often fall into the illusion of “I can change him” or “I can heal her”, but the truth is that no one can truly heal another soul except the person themselves. We can’t fill the voids others carry within them, nor can we make them live a happier life. I really admire how you wove this reality check into the story so naturally. Lastly, I must say I loved every bit of this novel. I waited every day to read the next scene , it felt like I was living those moments alongside the characters. Wishing you the best of luck with your future novels, Abeer. I pray that you soon become a published author, and yes, I’ll be waiting for my first signed copy from you! (P.S. Justice for Hiba 😭) "

Review

"“I am happy because my makeup is perfect.” “I want someone who can make me feel safe.” And then, she got her saviour but she didn’t bother to even think about him. I have never read a relatable and beloved character to end up like this. I cried like hell. I saw the ending coming, but you wrote it in a way that shattered something inside me. People like Hiba do exist, I can assure you, and it felt like an emotional ache to relate to her. One thing I must say is that adding Hiba’s family death scene could help us understand her feelings better. Nevertheless, the whole story was written beautifully, and one should give it a try. It will help you learn something about this life. "

Rink Of Emotions

"Hi Abeer! Firstly, I'd like to thank you for this amazing story! This is one of many books that got me hooked into the story! Great job! 🤩 I have a lot to say about this book, so be prepared! 👀 I adored how Haris and Hiba ended up together in the story! It was crazy to wait for them to finally interact! You built up the suspense pretty well, making the readers wait for them to meet! They deserved each other and I genuinely enjoyed reading their special moments! 💟 Haris finally meeting Hiba was a delightful read! For the entire book, he kept trying to find her, talk to her, meet her, and he managed to do so! 😃 I enjoyed reading their adventures! It's rare for characters to travel in a book! I admired reading the places in Pakistan 🇵🇰, Malaysia 🇲🇾, Canada 🇨🇦, Turkey 🇹🇷, and Maldives 🇲🇻! I am a huge fan of travelling and I plan to visit those countries one day! And I always enjoy a good read when characters travel to some other country! Even if it's a chapter or few, it was still entertaining to read! 👀🌏 Hiba being Malaysia while Haris was still in Pakistan was an astonishing little arc! There was a lot going on with both sides and when Haris managed to actually call her, I was surprised, yet satisfied! I've wanted them to meet or at the very least talk, and he managed to talk to her through a phone call! 🤩 Hiba's interactions with her friends were always nice and relaxing to read. With everything she had to go through, she had a few friends in her life that loved her and it's I liked her interactions with anyone! While she had been through a lot, she should have realised that there are also many friends that loved her! I genuinely wanted a happy ending for her! I was so upset when she passed away in the final chapter! I was devastated! 🥲💔😫 The book delivered well and I enjoyed reading "Rink Of Regret" for the past few weeks! It's emotional, yet outstanding! Great work with this book! 🤩❤"

The Ending Will Leave You Speechless

"What I saw in this book, Abeer, is easily the greatest sign of your improvement as a writer! You finally brought the shock factor that was missing from your previous books, the emotional connection! For 30+ chapters, you had us rooting for Hiba, hoping that she could move on from her pain and live a good life. You showed us how much Haris tried to reach her, not only because he wanted to return her diary, but because she entered his heart. I know I made fun of how long Haris took to finally meet Hiba (and I still stand by it, mind you 😏), but I get it. You showed us that Hiba has a chance to finally be happy with Haris and her friends… only to take it all away. The ending left me speechless. I truly thought Hiba would get a happy ending, but what she did left me flabbergasted! Guess that shows that some people just can’t let go of the past. Hiba’s tale is a tragic one, and the ending reminded us of that fact. Hiba couldn’t let go of what happened. Haris was left mourning the woman he loved from the bottom of his heart. And we were left weeping 😢. You didn’t give us the ending we wanted, Abeer. You gave us the ending we deserved. "

Review

"This novel takes readers on a journey through a whirlwind of emotions. I felt every emotion, joy, sorrow, hope, and despair. With every twist and turn, it fascinates the heart, inviting you to experience the highs and lows that define the human experience. The biggest plot twist lies in the second last chapter and I stared at the screen. I didn't see that coming. But I saw the last chapter coming. Hiba’s character was written like that. It was meant to do this- don’t want to spoil it for others. I feel it was like a warning. My life is so relatable, her character is so relatable that I felt that horror, and perhaps that was the reason to write this novel but still, she deserved a happy ending. She could have survived this but it didn't turn out this way. In the end, Haris’s sentiments were defined well but I realized it was a solo journey of Hiba. He was just a part of it. Now, I don’t even care how much Haris had dragged their marriage case. Crazy! No offence but it was like Haris’s character was forced to love Hiba or perhaps we have an image of the main characters in our mind that I couldn't acknowledge his different personality. Whatever it was, in the end, it was Hiba who was the dominant character. There were flaws and major flaws in Hussain’s personality. He didn't truly love her or else he would have taken a stand for Hiba. Side characters like Umaima and Alizah were perfect. Huzaifa’s jokes made me smile. The ending was expected yet heartbreaking. Highly recommended to people who love the most unexpected twists. "
