Authors Note 1
Author’s Note from Koroishi Shiori
When I set out to write Twilight Is A Beautiful Hour, my goal was clear: to share a story that would bring understanding to those who may not yet grasp what it means to be part of the LGBT community. 🌈
As someone who is deeply woven into this fabric of life, I have encountered too many people who see our identities as something to be questioned, dismissed, or even misunderstood—often mistaken for a passing trend or a mental illness. But the truth is, our identities are not a “fad” or something we choose; they are simply a part of who we are. It’s our truth, woven into the very core of our being. 💖
Through this story, I wanted to create a window into the experience of a young LGBT individual, a chance for readers to walk beside them as they navigate their struggles, fears, and ultimately, their triumphs. I have had the privilege of meeting many people whose perspectives have shifted when they’ve heard my story—when they’ve heard our stories. And I believe that if they can understand what it is truly like, maybe, just maybe, the world will open its arms to embrace us all with a little more love and compassion. 🌟
This book is for anyone who has ever felt different, out of place, or like they don’t belong. You are seen, you are heard, and most importantly, you are loved. 💕
Thank you for taking this journey with me.
