Chapter 1: Discovering my mom had Disappeared.

It was always a pleasure to ride my 10-speed bicycle through the quaint streets of my neighborhood in the picturesque town of Canton. My amazing mother, Jeddah Anderson, a 38-year-old woman of grace and beauty who stands tall at 5'7" with flowing shoulder-length blonde hair and striking blue eyes, was my home. She worked as a dedicated librarian at the Canton Public Library. Her reputation preceded her; she was well-known for her generosity, compassion, and unwavering willingness to help others. Everyone who knew her in the community loved and respected her. In addition to her career pursuits, she was my pillar of support and a loving, committed mother. There were no limits to the love and respect I had for her. It took an hour to get to the house. I got off my bike and started pushing it in the direction of the garage. The garage door was open, which caught my attention right away and seemed strange. My mother took great care to keep it tightly closed at all times. I realized my mom's car was gone as soon as I got home, and I felt empty. As I entered, I looked forward to my mother's kind welcome, her smile illuminating the space. But the empty house was silent when I arrived today. I called for her and began searching the entire house for her, but she didn't respond. I searched the laundry room, the family movie room, the kitchen, the bathroom, and the bedrooms for Mom, but I couldn't find her. I saw that everything was tidy and orderly, as though Mom had been there and had just vanished the following I looked up and saw Mom's smartphone, billfold wallet, and purse sitting on top of the immaculate China Cabinet. I felt uneasy because Mom never left the house without her reliable necessities. Something was wrong with Mom, and a feeling of dread began to seep in. I was plagued by a feeling of dread, as if something terrible had happened to Mom. I couldn't shake the disturbing idea that she might have been taken against her will. I sincerely hope that whoever has taken her will be compassionate and protect her.

A waitress approached a booth occupied by a man and a woman with long, flowing blonde hair at a charming Shoney's Restaurant across town, miles from Canton. The woman looked down, her hair falling to her shoulders. The man conversed with the waitress about their meal selections in the meantime. The waitress was enthralled when the blonde woman abruptly lifted her head to reveal breathtakingly gorgeous blue eyes. The waitress noticed the woman's trim figure and couldn't help but feel worried.

The waitress said, "Do you want something?"

The man's foot subtly started caressing the back of the woman's leg and calf beneath the table as the long-haired, shoulder-length woman was getting ready to talk to the waitress. As the waitress moved away from the scene, she lowered her head in discomfort. The waitress heard the man talking to the woman in a threatening tone while they were still within earshot.

The waitress served the man and woman with long, flowing blonde hair and then left them alone. An hour later, the man and woman had left, and the waitress began clearing the table until she noticed a folded-up note underneath the plate, which she unfolded and began reading.
